Two low quality scans from next week's Jump issue have leaked online, and they feature the Final Fantasy IV characters that are included in Dissidia Final Fantasy, Cecil and Golbez. It seems that the player will be able to switch between a Paladin/Dark Knight while playing with Cecil.

Heh, 'bout time ^^

So, assuming it's from FFI to FFX, that leaves the two from FFV, the FFVI Hero, and the FFVII Hero, right?

I'm really hoping for Celes or Terra as the FFVI hero.
 
Kefka did mention about some female, so it would either be Terra or Celes. As for FF7 however, we all know it's Cloud, SE is putting it last to get some hype on it.
 
Is it just me or is Paladin Cecil using a spear? I thought he used axes, bows and longswords?

also I am highly disappointed with both the Dark Knight and Paladin armor their sporting. Was hoping they would use the FFXI model of both.

Also, don't think they should've made Kefka's lips so big. Reminds me of a Joker rip off. I'll still take it though.

Cecil was the obvious choice I guess, I just wish some other characters were being represented in this game. Cecil will be too similar in appearance to Firion in my opinion, but still Cecil is 10 times more awesome, so I'm happy with that.
 
Glad it will be Goblez and not Zeromus.

Are you sure you didn't see FFII's hero? He looks a bit like Locke.

It would really suck if they didn't use Terra or Celes for FFVI.

And I don't think they would dare to give us anybody but cloud for FFVII hero :cool:

If the FF6 hero realy is Locke I will be most utterly disapointed. While Locke is an ace character, it'll just be another silver haired male character as the hero. We already have Firion and Cecil for that now and having Locke too will just seem pointless and repetitive.

If it was Terra however... Well that would REALY rock the game. She would stand out, she would be awesome. Even if she doesn't have green hair she'll have such amazing magical abilities, and her esper form will blow everybodies minds. I hope they put her in the game, or if not anyone else from FF6 other than Locke, as having him would just not stand out in the game at all, among Firion and Cecil.

You can see two interesting things, in this scan...

First - Luneth (FFIII) is the alternate costume for Onion Knight.

Second - You can see the Dark Dragon from Golbez, He is performing an Ex-Burst Attack, so that leads to two conclusions. Either Golbez Ex-mode is Dark Dragon or his Ex-burst attack is summoning the Dark Dragon.

About Cecil - Cecil in both Dark Knight and Paladin form uses a Spear and a Short Sword http://www.gamekyo.com/images1_4_29009.html

Yeah, I also highly doubt it'd be Locke...People are already confusing Firion for him as is...Besides, Terra clearly represents the opposing force to Kefka's anti-Hope ideals. It'll be Terra. Her EX morphed form will be cool...

I'm partying now that Terra is confirmed. It was suggested from the last trailer, but seeing it for definate is great.

They've gone for Amano's blonde hair look, which I'm not against. It'll be ace if you could have her green hair in an alternate costume, just as Luneth is to be the alt costume for Onion Knight.

So... Now that we have all characters confirmed, all we wait for now is what the alternate costumes may look like!

Some possible costumes they may do?

Bartz = white haired? Like seen in the opening movies of the Playstation version.
Cloud = Zack? A possibility, all it needs is a hair change.
Squall = Seifer? Not likely as it would require a lot more than just a colour swap, but I guess it could work on a functional level.
Sephiroth = Shirtless Sephiroth? I think such a version exists at the very end when Cloud Omnislashes his ass.

We're not sure if they're going to do alternate costumes for all the characters though, I don't know what their plan is, but these seem reasonable suggestions. Can't think of anything for most characters though so it's pretty difficult to think of alternate costumes that aren't just random colour swaps for characters like Kuja, Tidus, etc.

Also...

I guess we should also look to what transformations characters may undergo?

Such as Sephiroth into Safer One-Winged-Sephiroth?
Kefka into God-Kefka?
Ex-Death into tree of terror?! (lol, I don't know the name.. Oh yeah, Neo Ex-Death I think).
Terra into Esper form? (Very likely, and I can't wait!)

You're right.. Just looked it up on wiki.

Firion is in a red caped costume for his alternate costume...


Hmm.. Still want to see what other peoples alternate costumes will be.
 
Ah man, I was hoping Terra was gonna have her greenish-aqua hair, they made her a generic blonde; I know it's Amano original hair colour, but still >__<

And finally! It's Cloud as every single person knew. 'Bout time; and yes! He's not wearing the AC outfit ^^

probably her alternate costume, i like also the green haired Terra, but blonde suits here the better.

My favortie Cloud costume is from AC. I hope its his Alternate Costume. :P
