[19/06] Square Enix Registers Occult Maiden And Star Ocean Trademarks

What could Occult Maiden possibly be?

Star Ocean is also being re-registered. There is a possibility that this will bring a new Star Ocean game announcement. A sequel to 3(Till the end of time) would bypass lots of important plot points.

What could this possibly mean then?

It could possibly be a prequel like TLH was.

SE tend to renew trademarks before announcing games. A new Star Ocean is very likely at this point.

A new Star Ocean game would be very exciting for me. I really loved TLH, 1, and 2. I still have to play 3. A prequel is most likely at this point. A sequel could be possible as long as it is explained in a correct and meaningful way.

I cannot wait for a new Star Ocean game and I am sure it will be great to play with touchscreen controls on my iPad~

Or it could be a reboot for next-gen, which would be too un-Square-Enix of them, and surely Tri-Ace has to be busy being Square's bitch nowadays. A reboot would probably be the decent next step considering fans hated the twist in Star Ocean 3, and Star Ocean 4 has scarred me.

I was gonna ask if it was possible to be a new Star Ocean game for the PS4/Xbox One, but Livi pretty much answered my question before I could ask. (Inb4 everybody else). Y'never know, maybe they have a whole bunch of games that they want to make for the PS4.
