That is not terrible advice. That was very useful information in this situation, I'll have you know. But you're right, half of what i say is influenced from my memory of watching the tv
Well, I have an older sig that I made of Altair but... that's altair. Also, Ari is a beast at siggies and so is ewan, so while I am flattered you asked me I sadly cannot do eeet and must direct you to them. :C
Sorry for the late reply. Forgot to get back to all my pals. Anyhoot, like I told Kira and Kel, I sadly can't make gfx anymore because my gfx comp crashed and died.
I disagree with that point because people define themselves often by the music they listen to. Goths, Emos, Wiggers etc are all subcultures based upon the kind of music they listen to. I would agree that people who listen to Alternative music don't define themselves as different from everyone else just because of their taste in music, but there's certainly a difference between listening to pop and alt. The only people who think there isn't a difference are the people who think that liking mainstream modern commercial pop as well asalt makes them open minded. And those people are absolute idiots. They try so hard to be different that they become mainstream, in the same way that being so left wing can mean that you can be quite right wing and vice versa. Though that's not why they're idiots.
I like The National a lot, but the Smiths are and probably always will be my favourite band.
I find his voice more difficult to understand than most, I generally hear 90ish percent of what people are singing, I get the occasional word wrong, but I am normally right. I do most of my proper listening in the car because I buy the CD and put it in the CD player, but I have been too lazy to buy any new albums lately.
That is a Smiths song. Some people do not like Morrissey's vocals, though those people are clearly wrong as the Simths are the greatest band ever.
It is the easiest line to hear in Holocene, I'm not too pleased with his voice as it is hard to hear what he is saying unless you put effort into listening. That's not something I do too often because I generally have music on in the background, whilst working or playing some shithouse game on the peeess3, rather than listening to music and doing nothing else.
I didn't particularly like Pop Justice as the intended audience are fans of alt music or similar genres, and the person writing it also has similar tastes. I thought it was too self-indulgent, semi-hipsters laughing at full hipsters without acknowledging that they are very similar.
I have used the word similar too often in that paragraph.
