i remember it saying quite explicitly that roland wished he picked up the horn at jericho hill, i don't know where he got it from that it was already in the tower. if it was in already there, why would he not just blow it there and then instead of having to go through the whole journey again?

Either way, though, it sounds like you're right up the creek with these exams. Have you tried asking the teacher if your tissue smells of chloroform? That always helped me get out of such issues for a while in grade school.

I actually start my classes next semester. I have my new student orientation today and my placement exam later this week. I'm doing rather well, all things considered. Got a strong grant to cover the majority of my expenses and have my hopes set on a new piddly job to keep me busy during the breaks to bring in some money.

It's a long, sad story but to make it short, the university registrar wouldn't let me take on 24 units. They said it's against policy for a Bachelor of Arts course to take on more than 21.
