    Welllllll obviously you need better grades to get into the better unis. And then like, more popular courses have higher entry grades as more people apply. And, harder (science, maths, languages) need higher grades than, say, art.

    I'm on course for what I need. Hopefully I wont have to live in that box after all :ohoho:

    i know, i hated the arthritis too. you realise by the end that the first six books are pretty much just a big build up to the seventh, to make you love the characters more than you normally would

    My plan A is: get grades and go to uni.
    My plan B is: live in a box.

    yeah it's the crash. i think it was either at the end of book 6 or the start of 7.
    it's definitely better than song of susannah, probably about as good as the wastelands. it's hard to like it because he starts wrapping everything up and finishing things off, which you don't want to happen. it has the perfect ending though

    I could use a sleep. Gonna hit the sack soon myself I think.

    Ehhh I did my GCSEs last year when I was in year 11.
    And well, 6th form is like our optional years, we can leave school when we're 16. First year of 6th form we have AS levels (which is the lot I've just done) then 2nd year of 6th form we have full A levels that I have next year.

    People that aren't English never understand this when I try and explain :gonk:

    And no, we don't have a 7th form. It's like... we have 5 years in secondary school up until we're in year 11 and 6th form is year 12 and 13 together, then we go to uni :hmmm:

    it was brave of him to do it. i'm glad it didn't completely fuck the entire thing up as well. it kind of detracts from roland's badassery a bit though. :sad3:
