If I find the person that writes such fanservice into the show, I'm gonna shoot them in the face with a hammer.

typical american slapstick humour. no substance to it.Things do get a bit tacky, and even I'll admit that and I'm a big fan of the show. It's like... okay.... guys... GTFO with the whole 'dad expects us to do' and 'what measure is human' and 'metaphysical problems of the day'. Just... go out and kill things while frequently making wisecracks. GOSH.
And though the angel/demon/armageddon parts may not have been uber, they did have their highlights. Cas being one of them.
"[automated female voice] Hello, you have a call from: "[Cas] I don't understand, why do you want me to say my name?" Will you accept the call?
And,
Sam: What happened to you?
Cas: I found a liquor store.
Sam: ... And?
Cas: I drank it!

and with that, you've just completely invalidated any opinion you might have on comedy.Take a good look at "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". Entertaining? Sure, about as funny as watching a Holocaust movie. And unfortunately, this is widely considered to be the epitome of European comedy.

typical american senseless humour. the be all and end all is that it's not funny nor entertaining. it's just irritating.
