Avatar: The Last Airbender Club

Wait, the movie is the first season of the show. The first season didn't have Toph yet.

Awwwwww aaaah nooo. Oh well. I can only pray for a sequel....hope it's not like Narnia where they do 2 movies and just forget about it

Whatchu talkin' 'bout? There's a third Narnia movie coming out xD

Also, a second movie depends on how good the fist movie does. So be sure to go and see The Last Airbender in theaters on July 2!

What? No seriously a 3rd? Whats the title? They better not have skipped over the horse and his boy like they did with The magicians nephew...

Hmm Eskimo makes more sense for the water nation. I always thought Indian XD.

I always associated the Earth nation with Chinese culture and the Fire nation with Japanese culture. And the air nation with Tibet, for no reason other than when I think of monks I think of Tibet. Lol yeah I know awesome reasoning.

Afaik, Shalamalaman has planned to do a whole trilogy, each movie set for each season, regardless of how the movies do money wise. He loves the series and pretty much wants to bring all of it to real life for others. So the first movie's gonna be kinda slow, but the third will be epic.

Also kinda surprised at Princess Yue being in a poster.. didn't think she was that big of a character (only in... two episodes?).

Well if they're eliminating some pieces of the first book to really make the central focus the battle at the Northern Water Tribe, then I can easily see giving Yue a larger role in things. Unfortunately; this may also mean leaving the Kyoshi Warriors out entirely.

Let me just say right now that the idea of Aasif Mandvi (The Daily Show) playing Zhao is still hilarious.

:gasp: LEAVE THE KYOSHI WARRIORS ALONE.

....a lot of them were pretty hot for western anime chicks, I'd like to see their live action doubles.

Oh I'd like to see them too, but if we're talking movie consolidation and whatnot, removing their segments from everything does streamline the trilogy.

On that note;

The Kyoshi Warriors are in the movie. We even have pictures of them! Suki is even in the movie!

Of course, they're without their makeup but not for long!

It's just for a while. They wear their make up other times in the movie xD

Spotted this today. I'll have to take time to read it, but it looks like the inspiration for the Blue Spirit shows up, and more development is given to how Zuko was first scarred.

What the heck!? How can they say it's a blockbuster if it's not out.

*confused*

I love how they jump to write a book without even letting the movie fully release worldwide yet. Geez. Just goes to show how money-hungry corporate Hollywood can be. Still, it undeniably looks interesting to me, mostly because I've always had a secret fascination for Zuko, his past, and how that past defined him as a character. He's had the most significant growth personality-wise in the series, out of many of the characters to me, besides Aang and co.

I'm intrigued to see what they'll do with this.
