Me I guess

I think i might be mixing telekinesis with telepathy, oops. well anyway, my character has both
 
Mine too, but using telekinesis on people's brains would probably cause brains damage :)
 
I just wanted to say, it is completely ok if a student brings their own weapon to the class, Arukab knows his way around all sorts of weaponry. First class will be very interesting though. :D I plan something pretty big for a lesson.
 
Ravona will be attending Nova's class today. I didn't notice that the mission was tomorrow :D
 
And whatever they bring Nova will be -as the prodigy said on their album- Always outnumbered but NEVER outgunned :P

as for my posting, i'm on CEST timezone (Central european summer time, GMT+2) so my posting times might be a little off compared to you guys...

EDIT: @Crimson, Nova's description is in her bio:P but she's your basic late nineties supermodel... what us dutchies call an "hourglass figure" ie big on top big on the bottom and slim in the middle, red hair, green eyes...

Personality: Veerle is distant person with a hatred for human emotions. Happiness is all but alien to her and love and trust nothing but a distant memory. Manipulative and cold, Veerle talks only when she really feels the need too and refuses to give those she does not feel worthy the time of day. However, she is strict and swift in putting people in line and do whatever it takes (even to the point of beating the crap out of them) to do so. A sado-masochist, she derives as much pleasure from inflicting pain as she does recieving it. Very few people become what she would call friends, and those that do had better be wary for she can switch her feelings on a person in the bat of an eye.
Arrogant and twisted are the two words usually used in conjuction with the middle Shinja sibling.

Abilities:
- Enhanced Speed: Allows Veerle to be faster than the average fighter in battle.
- Enhanced Reflexes and Flexibility: Enables Veerle to be better at reacting and pulling of more complicated moves in a fight.
- Enhanced Strength: Stronger than the average fighter due to years of physical training and the genes she inherited from her father.

History: Entering Eureka Academy at 16, Veerle was quick to lay down the grown rules concerning those she would grace with her presence. The first of these being that under no circumstance, could any one physical touch her. It soon became a known fact that in doing so, one would be quickly reprimanded rarely painfully. The second thing (or rule if you will) that she showed was the blatant disregard for authority.

Veerle was born into an average family. She had one older brother before her and a sister who came two years later. Her father was a warrior, who trained his children from a young age to be able to defend themselves in battle. So whilst her family was average, her upbringing was not.

Her father was a veteran warrior who had seen many battles and developed enhanced strength in his endeavours. This gene his passed down to Veerle, who quickly managed to out-power both her siblings. By the time she entered Eureka Academy (with the soul purpose to best the other students), Veerle was stronger than her father.

Class is out people;) since no-one claimed the topic i made something up...

EDIT: i would like to state (for the record) that i am not trying to force my own (old) World of darkness inspired magic on any of the other player characers it's just that that's the only magic Nova KNOWS enough to teach... Hence my grabbing it for the purposes of the class and besides "forces" can easily enough be replaced with "elemental" and "life" with "healing" without a major change except from terminology...

EDIT EDIT: @ crimson, and related to the above concideration, i will ofcourse hook you up with the kit you need for proper use of your new powers if your character accepts... But as i said before i cannot teach her the more "conventional" magics...

I looked through the pages of the thread and couldn't see a bio for her anywhere. o_O

Crap guys, is this happening in real time or what? If so, I'll miss every morning class, seem like I am sleeping in a ridiculous amount (albeit I often don't get up out of bed with a whole lot of morning left in real life anyways...), I can't go at that kind of pace, both of the characters will be left behind in a cloud of dust, so to speak. >_<

So yeah, this is in real time? I am supposed to get on the computer at before 9 AM in the morning, waking up my bedridden father, to post waking up at a good hour to go out to some class? Sorry, but I just can't do that...I'm not that cold, I get on after my dad wakes up for the day. >_>
 
I have to agree with Drachnon, I must think some others would be held back from it too, there are a lot of people that get online once for a little while most days, and aren't on almost all the time, there are days straight like that for me regularly, only around weekends might I get online at night...

So I'm hoping this will become more manageable in the time to come, it takes me a while to make a new RP post, I'd have to dedicate almost all of my time to keep up with this as it is running now...I'm guessing I am going to miss that mission too, if I haven't already, even if I was added to the list. :|
 
OH! YAY Vikki accepted! Um. I'll make her ID when I get home from school.

Who the heck said this was real time? It's impossible to base an RP in real time! I whole full day in an RP could take weeks, months even. If time changes in the RP I'll state it in my posts, but I'll try to keep it at a reasonable amount...
 
Real time is very hard, especially for school students like me, so I must say, we have to not do it like that...
 
Good, because yeah, it would be a ton to follow in real time, I'd be losing time reading what new has been posted before making a new post, since it isn't in real life it doesn't have to be that hectic, so yep, I can be at least a bit relaxed about it...but I desperately need to post right now.
 
Besides, time zones are a huge factor in it if it is real life. Like Tipsy, he would only post to what the rp would see as night...and classes would be so short, I wouldn't be able to do my first lesson :gasp2:
