Uhm Crimson you do realise that everything is an act to make her believe she's going to get killed for real right? If she knows she'll be safe then the entire scenario misses the point of putting mental pressure on her to make her avatar awaken.
 
...Fire's rep's still in the red, that's that. She's going to be killed if she can't reach some button to press it, but she restricted from movement, so what can possibly be done? She's gonna die...I'm not posting if there isn't a way out.

Whatever FireFrnzy had in mind with your character had probaply not anything to do with killing YOUR character. The only person that can decide if YOUR character dies is YOU. If he killed YOUR character then that would be Godmodding, something I highly doubt FireFrenzy would do due to the mere fact that he is quite a RP'er and seems to have been in the game for a wile, and that's just my observation.

Btw, did you see the emphasis on the word your?

Now another fact is that you are calling him a traitior and a liar. What has he lied about? Please do share your knowledge couse I can't see a single lie through the post in the RP itself or the discussion thread, you just exploded.

Another thing which I in fact do not tolerate is the fact that you are now more or less being a major fucking troll not only de-repping FireFrenzy, throw out accusations about him having a scheme on killing your character, going into the "what is your mood" thread and whine there and flame him in his own topic about his "can't post more than 1 line" thread. What are you? 5 years old?

I have nothing personal against you Crimson Wolf as you have never done anything against me, but you should understand that the way you are handling this situation is:
1. Far too serious, it's a freaking Roleplay.
2. Extremely childish.

Maybe you should think twice before going into a ragefit.

...what MY character needs to do is move to hit press some button so she won't end up dying, but MY character can't move now, how do you propose I do this? Don't know what this Avatar BS is about, nor do I care, but he said it wouldn't be life threatening, next thing I knew when I was reading his next post in the RP; "...kill you in the attempt." -__-
 
Bolt, it seems to me that you're getting upset about something that might happen, not that has happened. Subeinu is correct; without your explicit permission, another RPer can not cause your character to die within the RP. That is completely your decision. Allow the RP to take its course. If there is severe God-Modding, then we can deal with it at that point. As it stands, nothing improper has taken place.
 
After reading everything several times, from the start of your discussion with FireFrenzy and when you two initiated the scene there is something I might have to remind you in his stead.

He is supposed to scare the living crap out of Sophia. Think out of the box, isn't Sophia supposed to be a mage of some sort? Yet she don't have any magic, but what you two are doing is to draw the power out of her so she can use it?

This would be probaply the perfect time to have a small burst of uncontrolled magic come from her body too try to release the restrains she have on her limbs. (Why I said try, is becouse if you broke free immediately that could be seen as .. "bleh".)

Use your imagination, that is all you have ever needed to do.
 
Try to, so what happens when she fails, she dies? Still the undesirable outcome...it's not a fitting end, there shouldn't be an end, I do not give anyone permission to kill her, or Crimson Wolf for that matter. Never have, never will.

I need to think this through, I plan to get back online later, hopefully something can be worked out from it then, because tbh this whole thing is causing me mental damage. :gonk:

Bolt, just because you've been put into a supposed life threatening situation, doesn't mean you're going to die.

This is what is called Character Development in an RP. You use this sort of scenario to flesh your character out more. So she can't move? Ever heard of the case of "Like a lion backed into a corner?"

Lion Backed Into The Corner Scenario:
This is the term I use for a situation that seems almost bleak, but in a show of courage or uncontrolled strength, the character is able to free themselves and fight back. Your character could panic and in doing so, have an uncontrolled surge of will, like Sub said. This is perfectly legitimate and quite probably what Frenzy is aiming for.

You really need to stop jumping down peoples throats for not doing what YOU want or EXPECT. It's never going to be what you want. Roleplaying doesn't work like that. You can't expect everything to go your way and to never get into situations that seem damn near impossible to get out of. But there is ALWAYS a way to get out of them. NO GOOD ROLEPLAYER puts another in a situation that they can't get themselves out of some how.

So how about you stop accusing others of trying to kill your character and lying to you, and start thinking of ways to get your character out of her situation. You'll find it's not that hard, and you'll develop because of it.

The fact is, a character can NEVER die if you never will it. You could be put in the most FUBAR position and if you dont want them to die, can BS your way out of it.

are you serious? i thought you said you were an experienced rper? As Neliel said, you need to stop complaining if something isnt going exactly your way. You have to adapt to the situations in rp.

They point of this scenario is allowing your character to use magic, to do this she first needs to be able to access it first which at this moment she can't. The mental stress from the slowly approaching death will allow your character to use magic without much control but at once you accessed it uncontrolled you can work on controlling it.

The only thing you need to do is RP how your characters mental stress level increases and then when it's almost too late she manifests her magic. For this you just have to determine on your own what your magic will be like.
If you want to have telekinesis you could push the button without having to go there, and because you have no control smash half the room along with it.
Perhaps elemental magic would just fill up the room or manifest and lash out at everything.
You want to manifest gravity powers you could turn gravity back on and amplify it making the button collapse on itself.
Magic involving teleportation could mean you teleport yourself out of the room and into the fountain in the academy courtyard.

Or pretty much anything else you can think of. Just remember to make it related to the magic you want to have later on, and that you won't have much control over it. You will save yourself but not in the easiest way.

It's also a shame that we can't add the last part of that post.
 
Hey, guys, im going on a short trip today at around 6ish (doesnt mean much since everyone has time difference). Therefore, i relinquich control of Escaflowne to Spartan and Delijah to maybe Oliver or Squee after he responses to my attack.

I never said that at any point, I've barely been RPing for more than two months, some improve more noticeably, faster than others, it's just rougher for me since I take it ridiculously seriously.

And the kind of magic I want her to learn is what in the Final Fantasy world we would call White Magic, which should not be what is required to hit the button, I don't want some crazy mind techniques or gravity changing or even Teleportation...though if absolutely necessary, I could accept that last one, I guess...

I thought I'd be able to make a post tonight, but I still don't know, it's all messed up. :/

is that so? i take it back then. i thoght i read somewhere that you said you had rped a while ago and was picking it back up. guess i was wrong.

In any case, an outburst of magical energy tends to dispel most things, especially white magic. White magic tends to heal any status ailments, hence you dispelling the illusion or whatever it is seems appropriate or reasonable.
 
Exit is White Magic, is it not? That may be my ticket out, then she would go to her dorm (perhaps that's actually where she ends up, on her bed in the dorm, instead of that table...), eventually Crimson Wolf deciding to slip over to see how she is doing, she tells him what happened, then it's time to have a little talk with Miss Nova Carmine. :ahmed:
 
Okay here's what i figured you'd do options wise A) push the button with a "magical forcefield" like you said, B) use some kind of magic on the table/bonds to escape that way, C) blow the slab up, D) finick with the gravity

I hadn't even thought of dispelling the illusion or teleporting... Guess i cant think outside the box as well as i figured... "Mad props for Subi for getting it"
