New High Quality Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Screenshots!

Fifteen High Quality Screenshots have just been released courtesy of Famitsu, the first four show the main protagonists, Terra, Ven and Aqua whilst the three after show the new worlds revealed, Cinderella's Castle of Dreams and Stitch's Deep Space. Whilst the latter 8 show the new battle system introduced into Birth By Sleep.

Terra wields a key-shaped sword called a Keyblade, he's the oldest out of the three protagonists in which he has a passionate nature for fighting for a friend. He is a power type character and tries to overwhelm the enemy by force.

Ventus, nicknamed "Ven" is the youngest of the three protagonists and is the most curious out of the three. He has excellent movement and attack speed.

Aqua is the middle-aged out of the threeprotagonists but has a more serious nature than the other two which leads to her being constantly worried about both Terra and Ven. In battle, Aqua uses the keyblade to focus on magic.
Terra focuses on tracking down Master Xehanort which leads to the three protagonists aiming for the same target but acting separately, when the three do meet, briefly, they do so mainly to exchange information.

Cinderella's Castle of Dreams will debut in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and is the work of Disney which will be one of the attractions within the game. Cinderalla also helps protect Terra during his mission and uses the "Last Dance" to wipe out the enemies.

Whilst Stitch appeared in Kingdom Hearts II as a summon, his world, Deep Space will now also have a debut in Birth by Sleep.

Like previous Kingdom Hearts titles, the triange button is used for magic, in which you can set it up in advance, like a quick-link or select it as normal, the MP bar has been done away with in which you can use magic after a set period of time, when the bar is full.

Different styles of fighting rise the gauge meter and the three different characters specialise in certain styles of fighting. Each command (that fills the gauge) will vary on how effective it is again certain types of enemy. When the gauge meter is full you can use it to unleash a powerful attack against the enemies.

The last screenshot was VER sad D:

Previous KHs does not have thr Triangle Button for magic; it was used for reaction commands instead.

I would like to buy BBS but I haven't got a PS3 or an Xbox or whatever D:
 
While I agree with you Sab that the last pic was very sad, the dude in the armor kinda reminds me of Riku. Just the way the character is built and the armor he is wearing looks like the one Riku was wearing at the end of KH1. All in all these shots look great and I cant wait for this to come state side.
 
I don't care what anybody says, Ven just looks damn near identical to Roxas. I swear, I thought it WAS Roxas the first time I saw him. Anyway, the screenshots look awesome and I agree, that last one IS sad. That stance almost does look like Riku. I wonder if it's him or maybe a descendant? Who knows. Looks like it's gonna be an awesome game! Great find and thanks for sharing. =]

And what? They're saying that the kid who looks like Roxas and who I thought was Roxas is someone named Ventus?

Freakin' hell at least get creative with your characters designs.
 
I think they were going for the whole descendant thing. I mean why else would he look exactly like Roxas? I mean they might as well as come out and say that is exactly what it it is because how can they claim otherwise, he looks exactly the same in every way. Even the clothes look similar.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure that masked character isn't Riku for the fact that Riku would be a kiddy back on the islands with Sora and co. And even in a trailer, Terra watched kiddy Sora and kiddy Riku playing together ;D

I've got my own theories, but since I've been proven wrong about the 358/2 Days one already, I'm just gonna wait and see >.<
 
I believe the blue-haired girl named Aqua has sold me on the game, despite my interest in the plot and seeing how sora and his scenario came to be from these events...
 
As far as the Riku-lookalike is concerned, i'm toying with the descendant idea. Perhaps he's the twilight keyblader like Riku is?

Maybe the same can be said for Ventus? He's just a 'former'?

Or at least, the role is. It's a unique possibility, though that... Thing for lack of a better word doesn't seem to be human. :/
 
BbS isn't KH3. No one knows anything about the game called KH3 since it's likely not even in development ;D

I'm inclined to think that Terra was influenced by Xehanort, who then influenced Riku as "Ansem" in the future, which I think should explain the same costume thing O.O
 
Glad for these pics. They are slightly teasing but...Yeah. I cant wait to finally get the backstory behind MX and see why he and the Dark Mode person look so similar to Xehanort and Riku, respectively. I am really excited about this game :britt:
 
Awesome pictures, it shows that BBS has the potential to be a great game. I can't wait untill the background behind these pictures are explained though.
 
I agree to someone who posted that Ven had resembled Roxas in someways. I thought also that Ven is Roxas.
