I just noticed... Fang's spear is collapsible? Looks sorta like it can be used as nunchaku too... just bigger... Like Selphie's Flail

There's also the 'Tactical Points Gauge' what's that about? A kind of booster for 'exp' for the crystallarium or w/e it's called?

Oh yeah, I just noticed that as well. From what I can see, it's a double bladed spear that can be split into a three-section nunchaku.

Wiki tells me it's called a "Sansetsukon" in Japan- basically a three-section staff.

Ah, that makes sense... I wonder if other characters have multiform weapons?

Lightning has the gun to sword, Fang has a collapsible spear, I think Sahz gets shotguns and shizz (though not something I can see as an in-battle transformation) and I dunno about Snow, since he's all hand to hand, same with Vanille and Hope

what does CP stand for? I can't think of anything it means

I'd take a wild stab in the dark at 'crystal points' or someshizz, which would either be for attack turns (better attacks consuming more CP, kinda like in Valkyrie Profile with the combos a character can perfom) or alternatively for 'buying' stuff like more HP etc.

Yup, CP does seem to stand for Crystal Points. I guess that it is like a currency in the Crystallium system. I forgot the details, I think Ryan/Cid Raines may have a better idea.

I'm not even going to try and figure out this battle system by pictures yet, especially since only some of it has been translated. It seems very complex and I think I'm better off just paying close attention to the tutorials at the beginning of the game.

CP seems to me like a sort of MP, at least that's what I was thinking throughout these screenshots we've been getting. These shots seem pretty generic, I was hoping for SE to release some new stuff. Although, they should be releasing in moderation for NA/EU... we've still got a long ways to go.

The third (?) one with Lightning and "BREAK!", is that a limit break of some sort?

Oh, and HP +15? That seems like a dinky improvement...

A lot of the screenshots look the same to me, homestly... But I am still super psyched about the game! (Some stores say that it will come out in december.... how weird.)

If they're referring to the Japanese release of the game, that solves it. It's out in Japan on the 17th! This Thursday!

Although that's not as awesome as the international release in March! Sorrelstar, rejoice, it's coming!
