ARRGH don't insult my country.

Even though you do have a point, per head of population we have 5 sheep. 4 million people and about 20million sheep so yeah. But still in the cities we are as modern as London so don't insult us.
 
NZ looks pretty actually.

I wanna go there, run around screaming "Kiwiiiiiiiiiiiiii" cos it's an epically adorable word. =3
 
Kiwi is both our national word and what we call our people in general, like yanks and poms we call ourselves Kiwis and so do other country's lol. I live in our country's garden city Christchurch which is a beautiful place when its not raining.

NZ is a green country, we get a lot of rain but when the suns out the place is truly beautiful. The land is green as far as the eye can see, even in the central city there are trees lining the roads and small gardens here and there. In Christchurch there is a massive garden in the city center that takes up about 1/3 of the total city center.
 
Maori gods kick all others in the head before cutting there heads off and doing the Haka, thats basically how it goes.
 
I do quite like some of the stories about Maui, the one where he and his brothers capture the sun in a net and beat it almost to death is my favourite.
 
..... that myth, to know about Maori myths you would have had to live in New Zealand for quiet a while.

*points finger accusingly* you must be a Kiwi like myself Afghan Whigs or have at least lived in the country for a while.
 
I'm quarter maori, or close enough to 1/4 anyway.
 
I hope you realise, before turning me into the big bad wolf, that this was a response to Hal/ Afghan Whigs' Europe-bashing thread. :O


Also... This was meant to be a NZ bashing thread, however awesome it might actually be, not a Maori get together. :sad2:
 
You lack the power to turn this into a NZ bashing thread due to me and varrying others putting in too many good comments and no on putting in bad. Sadly this means this thread fails at its original slandering purpose but does fine as a general NZ discussion thread.

However i concur that new zealand does look a beautiful country although we probadly have more sheep than you folks do.
