Umm...apparently it continues after a game, i thought 5.
Anyone know for sure?
 
It's supposed to take place 200 years or so after FFV. I'm pretty sure there were only like four episodes, but I only got through the first two episodes. I really didn't like it at all, I almost fell asleep during the second episode.
 
I finished all 4 episodes.
And I just have one word for it: what?
because I never played FFV so i have NO idea what was going on.
 
I've seen them all and yeah it's pretty surreal inparts. Glowing arses', body building wimminz, talking brains....but it acts as a sequel to FFV, not that you really need to play the game to understand as only a few plot details actually relate to the events of V.

I made the exact same topic a few months ago. But I can't find that thread myself now. Probably in Zanarkand ruins.



I watched the first episode (or half episode) on Youtube... I don't know what to make of it. It didn't really feel like FFV at all. Only a few references to the game I think. It would have been better if it was only 20 years or so after FF5, with the characters of FFV older but still alive, rather than giving us all new characters, a load of new areas with no simularity to any of the areas in the game...
 
Hmmm I have never seen this anime before. Which Final Fantasy is it based on and what is it generally about? Is this Anime any good or was it something that had nothing to do With Final Fantasy?
 
[FONT=ＭＳ 明朝]It is a sequel to FFV, but no knowledge of the game is required (I watched sooo long ago before FFV was released in the US). It was never released on DVD, so it[/FONT]’[FONT=ＭＳ 明朝]s a little tough to find I hear. It[/FONT]’[FONT=ＭＳ 明朝]s more-or-less just a regular anime; it[/FONT]’[FONT=ＭＳ 明朝]s not very FF (chocobos are hairless pink things), and uses a lot of common anime comedy elements. Each of the 4 main characters are supposed to parallel the main characters from the game: The adventurer, the princess, the pirate, and the old tough guy, and Mid is also in the anime. Anyway, it[/FONT]’[FONT=ＭＳ 明朝]s nothing too special, but out of all the FF-related movies/tv, it[/FONT]’[FONT=ＭＳ 明朝]s my favorite one.[/FONT]

I rented them a long while ago when I was a much younger lad. I feel asleep. I couldn't be arsed to watch them all the way through. Although I am tempted to track a copy or two just to have them.
