Dissidia New Revelation

Golbez is in it, says so in the latest trailer (him being in it anyway so I could only imagine him being a playable character)

The main cast is from Final Fantasy I to X, according to Wikia. And Shantotto and other possible unrevealed characters are considered as "secret". So it doesn't really matter. The antagonist(s) of FFXIII can't be revealed as Dissidia comes first than XIII. :P

Apart from his class change it makes him seem pretty ununique... I wonder if his weapons can be chosen or if they are randomly selected though?
 
If there are going to be extra characters, such as the character from FFXI, I would love to see Ashe Vs Vayne. I think it'd be pretty damn awesome.

It was Seymour. They didn't put him in because he didn't really have a relationship with Tidus, while Jecht did. But if Yuna was the main character, Seymour would be put in there instead. But hey, he may be an optional character. :monster:

He can probably choose them, and he doesn't need to face Cloud to use the Buster Sword as he can also Dual-Wield any combination, I figured he might be able to use any weapon as he wishes, even so he can only use the Heroes weapons. :P

Same thing with Spells, he can use other characters spells, might probably be the same rule, only Heroes.

The way he learns them, it might be using your earned PP and buy them. Or learn them the hard way, by getting hit with them. :D
 
Bartz's EX ability is the sweetest one XD

but I think you'll have to buy the weapons from some osort of a shop for him to use his weapons
 
It'll probably be the same for the other characters... What would they get though?

Squall is simple... Cloud I think I have the idea... Zidane is iffy... And what about villains?
 
Maybe some characters after x will be in as secret characters you will never know till the release though. I want Ashe in dissidia she would just be amazing, but the character I want most is Yuna because she is simply my fav Final fantasy character. Also If Yunalesca could make a small part that would be good. I believe there will be no Xiii characters in though.
 
If there is going to be FFXII characters in the game, I'd rather have Balthier or Ashelia as the main protagonist, It would make more sense for Ashelia though to go head to head with Vayne Solidor.

you remember from Crisis Core, when you get angeal on the slto machine thingy, I think that "Beat Rush" style attack would be something Zidane would have

also have you seen Onion Knight's?

It would be fun if balthier could get in the game. Balthier I find is really funny and cool. Also for ashe what would her role be in dissidia. I think some xii chars could get in because a xi character just go in.
 
I doubt Balthier would work though for one reason, his primary weapon is a gun... If i'm not mistaken EVERY character is a melee fighter... Balthier just wouldn't fit in :wacky:
 
Well klonoa his primary weapon does not need to be a gun he could use any weapon remember from xii. If Gabranth would make it as a villian that would be amazing. Kuja is ok but I find he looks to much like a girl villian lol.
 
Yeah but you can say the same about Luneth, he uses rods, staves, spears, axes, swords, daggers etc.

Yet in dissidia he uses his primary weapon, the sword.

So I'd expect Balthier to follow the same rule IF he was included.

As for Kuja, personality wise i'd say he's a great villain and i imagine he'll be a fun character to use, even if ranged combat isn't my strongest suit :wacky:
 
All the characters are either Fighters or Mages.

Maybe Balthier could fit in, as Ultimecia shoots lasers projectile-like and surely Kuja, as he doesn't have any melee attack. Same goes with Firion as he can also use a Bow
And some characters like Jecht are close-range attacks.

So, I see no reason for Balthier to be excluded! If he is to enter the cast, he will 100% sure have to wield a weapon as everyone is using their main weapons.

Something interesting I hear; Sephiroth is going to have some of his main attacks KH. Those Include Super Nova, The forward slash attack that he uses on KH2 at beginning of the match, (He passes through you quickly and deals countless of powerful blows.), The attack that he used to Kill Aerith. Not sure about Heartless Angel and Fire Pillar.

And it seems they couldn't resist making sephiroth more powerful than the others. :monster:
 
Yeah but isn't it still Luneth? Just in different classes?

As for mages, don't they ALL have flight capabilities? How would Balthier fit there?

my guess is the character will all be pretty balanced in some respect, characters like cloud and sephiroth will be the newbie choice, for getting to grips with the game and beating it the first time, whereas characters like ultimecia and kefka will be for the more advanced players, as im guessing the character will be weak to those that dont know how to use them but insanley strong to those that do.

I can already see players in a few months after its release....

"Omfg you used sephiroth, do you know how much of a noobs choice he is get skillz use Kefka he pwnz your gimp skillz" :P
