no it is nt still luneth, Luneth was a chracter made for the DS remake of III, in reality he was never a real FFIII character
the onion knight is completely different (plus look at the hair, Onion Knight's kinda looks like Roxas from KH XD)
I dunno, I just presumed they were the same being XD... Must play the original ff3

Yes For sure cid will be in dissidia he is in every Final Fantasy game right? Anyways onion knight looks exactly like Luneth and I do think they are the same being. His villian counterpart should be Gabranth or if the hero is ashe then I think it should be Vayne Solidor. I also presume sephy and cloud for the demo like you said Klonoa.

As a matter of fact each character as a "Unique way of fighting" For instance, there are character that were made to attack, while other like Ex-Death and The Emperor are the Counter and Trap Master."Omfg you used sephiroth, do you know how much of a noobs choice he is get skillz use Kefka he pwnz your gimp skillz"
They require strategy and are recommended for advanced players, the wise ones, not the attack-like-crazy-type or the players who spam the same moves over and over.
Personnally I want to try all characters and see the ones who fit me well, not because I like Cloud the most doesn't mean I will use him the most.

Ok what the hell Luneth looks like a girl all the way. Hmmm so Luneth and onion knight not the same hmmm then how come in ff III on ds Luneth is the main character and in the original Onion knight???? Very confusing!!!
well FFIII originally your main cast was 4 onion knights (similar to FFI which just had 4 random people) no back story, no names, and you chose the job.
when the DS version came out, for some odd reason, they decided to add a cast of characters!
4 onion knights are you serious so your saying it had basically no story??? Whats a final fantasy with 4 of the same characters and no story??. Honestly Pokeslob this is really confusing and I do not get why they added a cast of cHARACTERS.
well there was still a story, the four onion kids are still orphans and are still teh chosen warriors of light n stuff, just didn't have names
but yeah you had four Onion Knights to start with then you could choose jobs for each of them as you found crystals.
they added characters to the DS remake to give it a story or something... I'm not 100% sure

So your saying the 4 onion knights were orphans and the game has a really small story? Then why did they put Onion knight instead of Luneth and they put the remake of Cloud of darkness in Dissidia?

Emperor of Hell looks fantastic, and that is some mean plasma ball type thing he is firing at Firion in the scans.
I'm not sure if I can work out what Firion's Ex-Mode is. I think he seems to get more weapons and such...
As for the real beauty... Shantotto! Some fantastic scans! And these really do shoo away any doubts I had that she may have actually been faked into the game by fans. She definately isn't, as she appears with Cosmos, and has Dissidia artwork (lovely artwork), and has a magazine page dedicated to her.
She looks to become a mean black mage and I really can't wait to see her in action. (New trailer please Square-enix!).
One note... Is she wearing two costumes in that? It looks as though she is. On her artwork and the scene with Cosmos she is wearing white, brown and black (or dark green on the artwork) stripey coat and trousers...
Whereas on the picture of her holding her staff she is wearing a different coat, just brown and dark blue and of different pattern (fewer stripes). So does that mean we have ALREADY been given a picture of one of her alternate costumes? Or perhaps just her Ex-Mode?
Also.. I think another awesome costume she could wear would be the full black mage gear.. The hat and purple or blue gown etc (Tarutaru's did wear them in the opening sequence to FF11, and players did throughout the world on there so I know it can be done!). Well.. Actually not sure about the gown, but soemthing that looked black magey enough was worn.

LOL! When I get this game, if no-one else has done that, I am SO doing that! It's one thing to kick Sephy's ass with Kefka to settle the internet conflict between the two... But to kick his ass with a 3ft tall teddy girl will REALLY show him up.
It's possible that Sephiroth and Kefka might be fighting against each other. After all, we've seen in trailers and whatnot people fighting against their own team, (Kuja and Garland, Zidane and teddy bear girl, etc) so I think we may be able to see who actually wins.
it will be the only FF fighting game
and I like the shanttoto artwork, another nice peice by Nomura
