Alright, I've noticed some hated and some liked the license board within FFXII.
Tell why you liked or disliked it here. =D.

Although I thought it was nice that the license board let you acquire different and various types of weapons...something felt abit empty about it.
Like, first off I really thought there were not enough Augument (sp?) to acquire. Just something felt abit off with this type of system. I'd rather have the Sphere Grid anyday.
It was alright, I mean it did enable every character to use every kind of weapon and spell there is (which kinda took away from the character's personality and depth)
The points kept going up even when the characters weren't in the main party and that I fund very convenient.
I suppose this was a good addition to the game, in VII they had the Materia Leveling up system, in VIII they had the AP revieced for the GF's, in IX they had the AP with the characters them selves, in X they had the Sphere Grid, in X-2 They had the Dresspheres and now they have a License Board :3
Everything works out in the end. But I still say this took away from the character's personality. As in other FF games, every character had one class of weapon they could use and I think that, that gave the character more personality, now that we can put any weapon on them simply takes away from the character's identity.

I liked the idea, having to obtain a license before being able to use a weapon.
But the fact that everyone can learn the exact same thing is not as nice. kind of makes it a bit dull, although you can choose to give everyone different kinds of weapons.
