LSS (Last Song Syndrome) is defined by Urban Dictionary as

"To listen to music before going out of the house, and having the last song you hear before leaving stick in your head all through your journey, and beyond. Is usually accompanied by subconscious humming."

Simply put, it's the song that keeps playing over and over again in your head even without your mind's permission to do so. :neomon:

Ha! That's funny, I love irony.

But I am suffering from LSS at the moment. I got "Plug-In Baby" by Muse in my head right. In fact, it's been in there for a few days and the fact that its lyrics are in my sig does not help at all. No prob tho, it's a great song and it's better than the other song I had in my head before that..."I Will Survive"...:ffs:

The more common term for "LSS" is earworm :neomon:

But uh, for the past few days I've had the Vitas song Opera 2 stuck in my head, so I've been falling asleep and waking up to a rousing "


I would totally hate Contra for showing me that video if Vitas wasn't so damned hot :wacky:
 
Ja. Normally various songs, though I think "hurry" is probably the best FF song for leaving the house. I'll do with anything motivating and nice to repeat over and over again for half a day.
 
At the moment, Animal Nitrate by Suede. Damn Televishius getting songs stuck in my head, but it is rather helpful when I have to sit in economics for 50 minutes because the teacher is a moron.
 
Yesterday I had a party and now I have this song in my head from wich I don't even know the name

I had that in my head all of this morning actually. Then later on it was Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody) by Paramore.
One song that never fails to constantly play in my head is Muse's Deadstar. Such an addictive song.

My friend Amie put it on as we were leaving my hosue this morning for schhol and it's been in both our heads all... friggin... DAY!
 
I always have some song stuck in my head, yesterday it was Like a Virgin by Madonna. :gasp: Yeah, I always end up badly singing along or humming to these songs in my head, much to the annoyance of those around me (unless they join in, in which case it becomes a cat's choir xD).

And I need to learn a bunch of songs for a show next month, so I've been singing We'll Meet Again randomly for the past week or so. >_>

Surprisingly, I didn't have a song stuck in my head when I was doing my English exam today, and I normally ALWAYS have one during exams. Like last year during an English exam I had the Balamory theme tune going over and over and over, it was so irritating! I wanted to saw my head off with a chainsaw. -__-

I had something stuck in my head during the English exam today but I cannae mind what it was now, hahah.

For me, it's Butterflies and Hurricanes, though.

Well I would assume that that had something to do with it. :monster: I would blame it for why I did so crap in that exam because it annoyed me so much. D:

Blegh, one thing I hate is when I'm listening to the radio in the morning, and then a particularly annoying song plays, and then it's stuck in my head all day. >< It doesn't bother me so much if it's a song that I like because, well.. I like it. I usually try to make the last song I listen to on the bus to school something that I wouldn't mind humming along to for the rest of the day. :wacky:
 
I've left my Indian Yoga "earworms" behind for now, and gone back to my old saviour Chop Suey by SOAD. I swear, if I ever learn how to drive I want that song in my head (helped some people I know pass their test ^^)
 
it changes depending on how i feel. in my normal state i hear calling to the night - natasha farrow. when i am sad i hear Way to Fall - Starsailor. when i am excited i hear Doubt and Trust - access.

Any song I ever listen to before leaving the house or going to bed getss tuck in my head ALL DAY. It could be anything

Although lately Iv been getting Falling Down by Muse stuck in my head alot, and that's without even having to listen to it :gasp: It's the same with Daddy's eyes by the killers. It always seems to be one line thatygoes over and over in my head :gasp:

Hmm, I have a lot of songs stuck in my head, but one in particular that ALWAYS comes to mind when I'm working at the daycare center is, "Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston. I just...have the need to listen to it for some reason...especially when I'm stressed out with the children. >_<

I always hum it in my head, "I believe the children are our future...teach them well and let them lead the way..." and then... "Joshua Roberts, NOT OKAY!!!"

ah, I love this song and it is the one that is currently in my head. That and "When You Were Young" by The Killers. Oh, and that first song is called "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane (currently called "Starship" for some odd reason)
