That's certainly not the case...off the top of my head I could name several games: FFTactics, Fire Emblem, Shining Force...I don't know if I could name a non-SRPG off the top of my head, but I'd be more than surprised if it weren't the case...also, the game's balanced to use however many characters you have in your party, really...all RPGs work that way...which is why you can work perfectly well w/Dragon Quest's 1-on-1 system. Balance.
Though I mostly agree w/you (mainly because I don't think anything but the game itself was tragic in FFVII)...do you mean the tragedy that's undone later, the tragedy that's undone later, the tragedy that's undone later, the tragedy that's undone later, or the tragedy that actually sticks that you see coming?

Completely worth it, but it would be better to wait for the DS version, unless you have enough money![]()
