They like it because it's very, fancy, if you know what I mean. I fancy it too, and made me the Master of the English Accent in my school.I'm English and no, I don't speak posh like they do in London.
Why do Americans love English accents? I never understand that! And why does everyone want to come here? Gee.
Nope, unless you Bush-obessed.Why from the North? xD
EDIT: That would exclude me from this thread then.
Well, I do speak fluent British, since I'm a Master at picking up the foreign accent.
Notice the way I capitalized the word Master. Yes, I am the TRUE Master of Foreign Accent!
I thought it was English. ll
Scottish startles me more than anything.
Oh, my. I meant that I never heard it before. And so it startled me when I heard it everyday that turned out to be my voice.Oooh. Bad move. >_>

Same here. I can't pronounce things properly, so people have a hard time trying to find out what I said. I have speech problems. Very annoying to experience. Takes 5 minutes to pronounce Metropolitan.i doubt it, most non scottish people have difficulty understanding what scots are saying

I never been to scotland. None in the northern Europe section though. Just the west.how the chuff did you work that one out if you've never been scotland before?
Not really, go to Inverness or Edinburgh and you shouldn't be too bad. Now Dundee on the other hand, that's a bit of a different story, five is pronounced as fev for some reason. But the towns mostly students so it's rare to hear someone speak proper in Dundonian dialect.i doubt it, most non scottish people have difficulty understanding what scots are saying
i have no trouble, i had scottish grandparents and when they talked to people i had to translate for them. so it can be difficult for people not used to itNot really, go to Inverness or Edinburgh and you shouldn't be too bad
