Eh, figured placing this here would be more appropriate than Costa Del Sol. :P If this has already been made, merge please.

Yes, 'tis the Christmas season. Thus, on every radio station, you hear music of the holidays. Despite certain versions out there that are annoying (I'm lookin' at you, fast-food idiots and redneck douches :mad2:), I ask you;

What Christmas songs are your favorite? And which version do you prefer?

Me personally, I'm a fan of Carol of the Bells and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Though, likely due to me singing in a school choir for six years straight, I prefer the acapella versions best.

This be a Jazz Choir singing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
And here's a Kairi/Namine AMV of Carol of the Bells by Destiny's Child.

I find Christmas music detestable. I simply gain no enjoyment from listening to it.

I can't dance to it. Singing to it is no fun. I'm borderline tone deaf, but still!

If I had to pick a favorite, I'd go with Frosty the Snowman. That one amuses me.

Fairytale of New York - The Pogues (not a original choice, but it's a great song)
Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Bruce Springsteen
Just Like Christmas - Low

And pretty much anything off Low's Christmas EP or the Songs for Christmas boxset by Sufjan Stevens.

I really like "Wizards of Winter". I also like "Carol of the Bells".

I use to like listening to Christmas music on Christmas but my work keeps playing same Christmas songs over and over so I pretty much hate all of it but I did like the rap version of Here Comes Santa Claus in Fred Claus.

I love christmas songs!! Lots of them, actually, I don't have a particular favourite coz there are too many.

Some are -

Fairytale of New York - Pogues & Kirsty MacColl
All Alone on Christmas - Darlene Love
All I want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey
Little Saint Nick - Beach Boys
Wonderful Christmastime - Paul McCartney

I missed out tonnes because they all rock...

The only Christmas song I really like is Carol of the Bells. I like a lot of different versions but my favorite is by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Im getting sick of crimbo songs but I really like Band Aid - Do they know it's christmas, not the new one tho, that just killed it
and also white christmas I love that and the film - I love a good old film :D

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Olivia Olson (am I the only person who prefers this version?)
Last Christmas - WHAM
Fairytale of New York - The Pogues

Hmm, I don't really like anything in particular, but I can't stand traditional Christmas songs or anything old. Even remakes are iffy, for me. *chin tappage*

Before Christmas, some songs excite me because they remind me Christmas is coming--but after Christmas, whenever I hear Jingle Bell Rock I shoot my radio. Telepathically.

Last Christmas - WHAM
Fairytale of New York - The Pogues

I love Olivia Olson's version!! She has such an amazing voice, especially for her age o_O In Love Actually, they had to edit her version of the song to make it sound more childlike, because people probably wouldn't believe that a 10 year old has such a great voice.
