I used to like pork, but now I'm very picky when it comes to them. I will, however, eat beef and chicken any time of the day.

Seafood is also a favorite, especially crabs and lobsters. I used to eat clams too, but now it doesn't seem too appealing.

Pork I find revolting. Crab is win, and I can't speak for lobster because the only time I've had it it was undercooked and old.

Oh hell yeah, I used to like pork but now I find it disgusting. I think it all stemmed after eating a whole bag of pork rinds on the way to Vegas a couple years ago. :monster:
Or maybe it was the time when I remember eating something called 'lechon' i.e. whole roasted pig 'til the skin is kinda crispy...

Either way, I'm grossed by it now and I refuse to eat it.

Beef by far, however, is thumbs up. Actually I'll tie that up with chicken. We all gotta love chicken. :monster:

I like all kinds of meat. Have never once thought of becoming a vegetarian or something, first it's unhealthy and second it doesn't mean you're gonna be thin, I know a girl that's a vegetarian and she put on a bit of weight, which I though couldn't happen to a vegetarian :D.

ololol, I've been trying to tell Darkstar that being a vegetarian is unhealthy but he doesn't believe me :monster:

Yeah, meat contains a lot of necessary amino-acids that you can't get anywhere else, well maybe from pills, but that's not the same :monster:

I pretty much eat any meat that isn't turkey. Turkey is gawdawful and shit. It's slightly less shit with gravy, but it still isn't all too great.

But Chicken and Beef is where it's at.

Being a vegitarian would suck cox imho. :monster:

I like pork a lot (though more in roast pork or sausages rather than ham or bacon), that's probably my favourite. The only major food meat I am not fond of is lamb.

Seafood is very nice, but needs to be in moderation, or you start feeling rather ill!

Hmm, well I'm not sure if most of you are aware of this, but I'll go ahead and say it anyway.

Porks have eggs/worms (Trichinae parasites) and that is the reason why people always tell us to cook pork really thoroughly - to kill those worms since they cause trichinosis, were they actually consume the pre-digested food before the body absorbs the nutrients through the intestinal tract. Basically they cause rapid weight loss, fatigue, constant hunger, intestinal blockage, malnutrition...which can lead to many other health problems, even death.

I'll quote what I found in a website:

multiple_sclerosis_cause said:
From the stomach the worm gradually invades the muscular system, but the side effects are often attributed to other causes. Eventually the lava mature into worms, die and calcify, forming cysts. At this stage the disease is called “Cysticercosis”. However when the encysted worms are found on any of: the brain, spinal cord, the membranes enclosing the brain and spinal cord (meninges) or the eyes, then the disease is called “Neurocysticercosis”.

In an article “Pig Facts” the process of development of the Trichinae Worm is explained.

“The Trichinae is enclosed in a little cyst or sac, which, when taken into the stomach, is dissolved by the gastric juice …and … gradually works its way throughout the whole muscular system.
In five to seven days the larvae mature in the muscles of the human body. When they finish their life cycle they become encysted into the internal organs of the host.
The pork worm is unable to be detected with the human eye and most pathologists have reported that there is a possibility for nearly half a million of trichinae to be found in each pound of muscle tissue of the host.”

In another article entitled “Neurosurgery on the Web” Dr. A. Vincent Thamburaj defines Cysticercosis, outlines the clinical features and diagnosis, radiological appearance and treatment.

“Cysticercosis is probably the most common parasitic infestation of the human nervous system. Humans acquire the infestation by eating infected undercooked pork (measly pork). Cysticercosis is acquired by ingestion of eggs … of the pork tapeworm … either by ingestion of contaminated salads or water, or by auto infection due to ano-oral contamination or reverse peristalsis. Tapeworm infestation can occur only in nonvegetarians, but Cysticercosis may occur in vegetarians also.”
People are also saying that if you pour coke on a raw pork, worms will come out. Not sure if that's true or simply a hoax.

Well, true or not, we still can't change the fact that there are indeed eggs/worms in porks. Thing is, these eggs/worms/larva remain dormant inside the animal's muscular tissues until they reach the secondary hosts (which are humans), then they return from their dormant state and begin thriving in the digestive tracts. Some can actually burrow out of the intestinal walls and inside the other parts of the body.

So yeah, cook your porks really well...

I'm fussy with meat.

Despite the fact that I hate red meat, I force myself to eat a hamburger every week, in order to remain in good health. No matter what doctors say, I have drawn the conclusion that nothing can replace meat. I've tried alteratives, and all of which were unsuccessful.

I love turkey and ham lunch meat, and I eat them often. I despise salami and anything related to it, though.

I am very picky with chicken. Since I'm a bit fanatical with the red strings and forien material in it, I only eat chicken cutlet that has been removed of all that crap.

I have never tried any kind of fish. I might try it, though. My brother keeps telling me that I have no idea what I'm missing.

The only meat I really eat is chicken. I love almost every chicken dish, or at least will try it. I also like seafood, but I can only handle so much of it. After a while seafood makes me sick.

MMMMMM chikken please :)

I'm one of those people who will try whatevers on my plate but chicken takes the cake in my book. It goes with practically anything!

As a strict veggie, I eat no meat, fish or animal products which required killing the animal, e.g. no gelatine. I eat only dairy and eggs from animas. No rennet.

I'm a seafood nut I like alot of things form the sea suprisingly though I really really love octopus. I don't understand why I mean you can't really like it as much as I do it makes no sense >.<
