Most likely character pairing that would happen...

OK...i'm confident that this is in the right place, but move this thread if needed

So...what do you think the most likely character pairing is between the main FFXII characters

e.g- Ashe and Balthier

WEll out of those Vaan and Ashe but over all i think Ashe and panelo should get together hehe lol only jokin ashe and Vaan should so get together

Really?...I think it would be Vaan and Penelo...there are a lot of moments between them, and in some ways they are similar

Vaan and Penelo - Pretty much canon, since their shown together at the end of FFXII and are in their own game together.

Vaan and Ashe - no chance. Vaan is in love with Penelo and Ashe is clearly infatuated with Balthier.

Basch and Ashe - ...No. Just no.

Balthier + Fran - Probable since they've traveled together for so long, and they clearly care for each other, although i don't think its on a romantic level.

Balthier + Ashe - Well, we all saw the ending, we saw Ashe going all shrieky when she thought Balthier would die, and we saw that he returned the ring to her. I say that this pairing has more to it than the others...

Well... The character interaction in this one as far as relationships go... lacked. I really didn’t see any chemistry at between any of them.

Anyway, the obvious paring is: Vaan & Penelo - Psst, no one cares.

Other possible parings... I kinda thought there was something there between Ashe and Balthier. Balthier did seem a little jealous at times over that fruitcake in sun glasses (forgot his name) and that touching too little too late ending with Ashe over Balther in the Bahamut.

Considering that Larsas like, 14, and Ashe is like 22, i don't see how they are "made for each other" is it just because they're royalty? If so thats hardly a basis to claim that they are "made for each other"

Ew, just ew. Larsa is twelve years old so I can't really see him in any romantic pairings.

Honestly, I didn't really see any romantic chemistry between any of the characters, not even Vaan and Penelo. They may have been going for something with that yawn-worthy scene at the end (where Ashe is begging Balthier to stay alive) but I still don't see any romantic pairings in this game.

I think the best couple out of that list is Penelo and Vaan. Although I don't see very much chemistry between two they seem better off as a possible couple.

The games been out for like 9 months, and since this is the FFXII section spoiler tags really aren't needed

And Basch and Ashe just wouldn't make a good couple IMO. He's more like a father figure than a romantic possibility.

Seeing as how the characters hardly had any defining personalities to make connections with each other, the only really obvious choice is Vaan and Penelo. The other pairings really depend on how you look at them, and how imaginative you can be.

Throughout this whole game I felt like the cast was really just a useless engine that moved the storyline along, when other Final Fantasy games had at least half the focus on relationships...

They identified little with one another, and we never even found out all that much about Vaan. How can we possibly say they belong together if we don't know how they'd work with one another? In other FF pairings, the couples changed one another and saw the best in one another. I can't ever see Vaan changing Ashe, or Ashe changing Vaan.

Vaan and Penelo
Would be as annoying as Tidus and Rikku...

Balthier and Fran
I think these two would make a good pair. Even though they're of two different species, they obviously care deeply for one another, and I can certainly see them falling in love. To be honest, I think there already is a type of love there. They've passed the stage of seeing the best in one another, I feel. They do respect one another.

Balthier and Ashe
Erm, no. Sorry, but princess and pirate doesn't seem fit. Ashe isn't exactly the rebellious kind of princess. She's all for sticking to rules.

Basch and Ashe
Well, I can see it, but I don't think it would work. Ashe fell in love and lost her love. I can't imagine her with anyone else, really.


P.S. Larsa and Ashe
Erm, no... Larsa's too young to fall in love. Maybe he can like Ashe. Haha. He acted old for his age.

Vaan and Ashe are the pairing. I mean they are so right for each other.
i mean the first time they met i thought that they were perfect for each other .
Besides them the next pairing that would be cool to see would be Larsa and Penelo.

Vaan and Ashe, for me there really isn't enough evidence for them, he's always with Penelo anyway, is shown with Penelo at the end, and i think their in a confirmed relationship in FFXII:RW

As for Penelo and Larsa....He's 12...She's 19...No =/
