Do you think FF-XII main story is pretty easy to finish? I really didnt have any problems beating regular bosses. Magicks like reverse, decoy and hasteaga makes all battles easy, also you can pump up your characters with all suporting spells before any boss fight taking more-less half of their life bar while they are lasting... The real challenge should be marks but they are also not so hard with right equipment (except maybe for Yiazmat). Also I would like everyones opinion cosidering length of Yiazmat battle, I mean, kicking him for about two (or even much more depending on equipment) hours can be pretty boring. Dont get me wrong I like hard battles but when I say hard I mean hard not insanely long.. Considering also "legendary battle" what do you think of Yiazmat battle camera, it sure gave me headache. This may look how I disliked the game but ff-XII (MY opinion) is rather decent game worth playing (I really enjoyed graphics). So whats your opinion?

Yep, I thought it was pretty easy to finish. The sidequests and marks are the ones that are time-consuming, but other than that, it was a breeze the whole time through.

I thought the final bosses were hard though. =/ It took me several tries. Sure gave me a hard time alright...

Took me hours to level up and defeat Ahriman, so no, not all of the bosses were easy. Even the Mimic Queen proved to be a bit of a challenge.

Ho boy, I remember him, but technically he wasn't someone you had to defeat to carry on. Goddarn his Sporefall.

It depends on how you level up the characters or how soon you've obtained those stat-increasing augments. If you feel inclined to train a balanced party of 6, then you might find that it takes quite a bit of time adjusting to the level that's appropriate for each dungeon. With a power trio, however, any of these characters can hardly get KO'ed during your journey unless you revisit areas such as the Barheim Passage early on in the game. Some marks were notable exceptions of course, particularly when you're underlevelled, lacking in powerful magicks and attempting them without a guide. By that I'm referring to White Mousse and the 2nd Gilgamesh encounters.

The length of Yiazmat battle? Considering you can leave the arena at any time, the battle can potentially be broken up into several chunks and resumed whenever one chooses to. Much of the fight is automated anyway, so you can opt to do something else, while taking heed of the characters' status.

There is a 50 min strategy introduced by the Ultimania guide, that might be of use to those looking for a shorter fight. I, personally, have never used this strategy myself, because I regard it as an exploit of the Reverse and Decoy trick. I'd rather have a fair 2 hr fight with 1 berserker and 2 damage-dealers pummelling an impressive dragon with their melee weapons, than watch the poor thing follow your lone character like a dog on a leash without getting any chance of hitting back.

All the normal bosses i find to be fairly easy. I never had any trouble with the Mimic Queen, or the Elder Wyrm, and i found a great trick for Ahriman: cast Slow on him before he splits, then once he splits, target each one and look for the Slow symbol since it'll only be on the real one.

However, i find all the judges extremely brutal and i can never finish a battle against one without using a quickening chain.

Yeah this games bosses are quite easy though i agree with VR, that the judges are far to UBER. Judge bergan takes it to another lv. You seriously don't wanna fight him without any buffs. His combos are totally brutal.

And about yiazmat, if you use the ultimania guide to it, then it can be done within an hour.

Yes, the main story was quite easy to finish. i could actually finish that within a week. It's kinda sad.

The side stories kept me going.

Bergan was horrendous, especially since i'd just got done mopping the floor with Vinuskar and Mateus, then along comes Bergan and it took me three tries to beat him. I am NOT looking forward to the back-to-back fight of Gabranth and Dr. Cid/Famfrit.

And i'm not even going to attempt to fight Yiazmat. The game is starting to become insanely boring and tedious now, so i'm just trying to plow through to the end.

Don't force yourself to complete it. Come back and do it another day. ^_^

Meh, i'll force myself, i'm nearly done with it and i'm a high enough lvl i think (upper 40's for my main party).

I'm in the Pharos now, beat the crap out of Pandemonium and Slyt. Pandemonium was easy, but jumping Jesus on a pogo stick, Slyt took less than 5 minutes.

Haste on everyone before battle + Slow + Oil + everyone using Firaga = fried Slyt.

I usually prefer my bosses to be easy, but not that much, i've fought normal enemies more challenging. I really hope Fenrir provides more of a challenge.

Don't worry the first fight with gabranth is easy but the second time is like bergan but with his special attack ^_^

I love the music when fighting him.

Oh fun -__- Well please tell me Gabranth is alone, at least? I hate throwing in my reserve party and wasting their MP on a quickening chain. Quickenings are so stupid and cheap...and RANDOM...half the time i don't get anything and after hitting R2 six times and finally getting something, time's up.

Lol he is alone. But DR Cid and Famfrit are STRAIGHT after the battle so no healing. Same with the next fight with him (Vayne is after )

Yeah, i saw that in the guide and was like "ohhhhhh crap".....i'm assuming it will be nowhere near as easy as the back to back fights with Trance Kuja an Necron.

I'd say it was just right. There were times when I had to go back and level up. I remember finding the first hour with Vaan, Fran, Basch and Balthier too difficult at first. Everyone kept dying. Other than that, it was easy if one put the work into levelling characters up. I guess it was easier for those who did side-quests, and more challenging for those who did not. Side-quests gave a good chance for levelling up.

they are easy in the regular bosses but if you do the marks/hunts it might be a challenge to you

The main storyline bosses were all pretty easy for me, including the judges and the final boss. Marks and espers provided a decent challenge though.
