yuffie, rikku or selphie

What character is better out of those 3 ? Like in battle and personality.
I would have to pick yuffie in battle cuz she is not that bad lol. Selphie and Rikku would be tied for personality.
 
Battle-wise, I think Yuffie was the best for me, then Rikku, and finally Selphie (though I haven't finished VIII yet). I trained Yuffie pretty well, so she was a good fighter.

Personality, I loved Rikku. Mostly in X, she seemed to get a little more obnoxious in X-2 :gasp:
 
Yuffie for both personality and battle.

She is smoking hot. Annoying yes but hot!
 
I like all 3 for varying reasons but the way swing is rikku she is spunky outrageouse & bubbly what more could you ask from a chic after stormy lulu
and miss goody 2 shoes yuna huh?
 
I'm going with Rikku. Yuffie was just annoying and Selphie just didn't cut it for me. So yeah Rikku ftw
 
I'm not going to say a word about Rikku in X-2...
But if I had to pick I'd have to say Rikku. Her character in X wasn't as annoying as Yuffie and Selphie. She was smart and could use the items wisely. Also, her overdrive Mix is my favourite ^_^

For seconds I'd say Yuffie. Then Selphie.

For some reason Selphie reminds me of Penelo.
 
Hard to pick one. I really love all 3 of them. I'll perhaps say Yuffie as she stood out to me as being unique, followed closely by Rikku, and then Selphie.
 
Don't know about Rikku, haven't played with her yet but about Yuffie and Selphie i would choose Yuffie. Selphie kinda gets passed by in the whole ff8 game. Yuffie gets to be a "normal" character.. I guess..
 
Cant stand Yuffie or Rikku, but I adore Selphie! I had her hair style in college ans she just cheers me up with the whole "Love and Peace!" The fact she believes a speech will be made regarding that on their first mission. Gotta love her.
 
Personalitywise, I like all 3 for the same reasons really, cute, hyperactive, cheeky, fun...etc

Battle wise (break hp/dmg aside) I'd go for Yuffie, she is a nifty little fighter and has some really good limits. I always found Selphie rather useless in battle, aside from her fullcure limit, I pressed 'do over' on The End once or twice because I had no idea what it was >_> Silly me

But yeah, I guess Im just a Yuffie fangirl :D
 
For battle, definitely Yuffie. I remember she was one of my strongest character in FFVII. She dealt A LOT of damage, almost in par with Cloud, but that's probably because of how I had set up my characters. Still, she was kick-ass, no doubt about that.

Personality-wise...erm, it's hard to say for Selphie because I felt I didn't really knew her character when the game ended. So it's a toss between Yuffie and Rikku, although I think I'm leaning more towards Rikku, especially after I've seen her in FFX-2. She really is quite an energetic girl. A goofball too at some occassions. I was drawn to her character, but I do like Yuffie too. I just think Rikku has the upper hand in this.
 
For strongest, I'd definately have to say Yuffie. Selphie and Rikku just don't hold a candle to her in that regard, although I must say Rikku's limit break in X was pretty powerful.

Personality-wise, I think it's a tie between Selphie and Yuffie. Both of them were fun and energetic and made me laugh and smile a lot throughout there respective games. Rikku, on the other hand, was just plain annoying! I wanted to rip her head off throughout most of X-2 -__-
 
Yuffie definently. While most bubbly characters are typically very sweet and have everyone's best interest at hand, Yuffie did not hesitate to turn on your party. And in quite an extreme way too. Sure she had a good reason, but that is still no excuse to betray anyone.

Also, I loved Yuffie in battle. She had awesome limit breaks and I love ninjas <3. Her weapon was very cool too.
 
Rikku was the most complete character out of the three
selphie the writers just forgot about her after disc 2 shame i really liked her
yuffie was a very weird character but a very good one she mixed things up a lot and she changed the whole girly girl out look
 
Selphie is actually stronger than all of them put together!rikku is incredibley stupid.yuffie looks dumb!so id say selphie
 
1st Rikku - I like the thief in her and her fighting style is pretty cool.
2nd Yuffie - She has nice boots and boots are good, only bad thing is her fighting
style, as i've stated before "boomerang" weapons are lame.
3rd Selphie - Unfortunately I haven't really played VIII much but I know of her but i'm
gonna have to rate her last out of the three.
 
For personality mine would probably be Rikku. She was a lot of fun and genuinely cared about everyone, especially "Yunnie."

For strength it would be Yuffie. She was always on my team when a big fight came up. Her, Vincent, and Cloud were my main party. That could have a lot to do with the fact that I used Yuffie and her final weapon to morph everyone in that plane under water to raise my characters stats to 255. But yeah, overall, Yuffie is my favorite.
 
I can't stand Yuffie, Selphie didn't cut it in battle, so Rikku wins by default. She was more annoying than fun in FFX/X-2, but less annoying than Yuffie... Plus, she looked way cooler than the other two. She wins by default...
 
Yuffie i would say is better
shes just so damn cute
and a really good fighter at that
