I searched for something like this, and couldn't find anything, sooo...

You live in a world in which all FF characters exist. A sinister dictator has raised a vicious army of elites to take over the different nations. Those who concede will live under strict rule and tough conditions. Those who don't will die. Eventually, your home gets attacked. You're forced to flee, but with a plan in mind:

Assemble an FF team of your own, comprised of any characters in FF you'd like, playable or not.

Your team must of YOU (obviously), and anywhere from 4-7 other characters from FF.

Here's the catch to each numerical scenario:

*note - The prerequisites only apply to the number of party members associated with it. For instance, if you have 6-7 party members, you only need worry about the rule to 6-7. The rules to "8" or "4-5" are not required.

If there's 8 of you: One character EITHER proves to be a spy, or dies. If they are a spy (your choice), you choose their fate, live or die, stay or leave.

If there's 6-7 of you: One character betrays you. You have the option of getting this character back later, but in return, another character will die.

If there's 4-5 of you: One character has a falling out with the group. Their views oppose that of your team, and they decide to leave.

Keep in mind that these are just MINIMAL requirements depending on the size of your party. Beyond those requirements, you may do as you please.

Additional Rules:

1. Be sure to specify which character takes on whichever of the above roles that apply to your team (the spy, the betrayer, etc...)

2. Your team may have no more than 2 protagonists (this is not Dissidia)

3. You may have no more than 3 characters on your team from the same game.

4. At least one female required for 4-6. Two for 7-8.

In addition to creating your team, 4 other things should be mentioned:

1. The name of the villain (can be from a previous FF)

2. Which place from any FF does the final battle take place

3. In which town from FF are you from

4. The weapon you wield

5. State if you have any love relations, and if a triangle or anything is involved.

----

To Mods: If this sounds too RPish, please tell me, and I'll fix it. That's not my intention.

Two things:

1. You don't hafta have a character with a falling out. That's only a minimum requirement if you have a team of 4-5.

2. To be fair for those with 8, I decided that there doesn't need to be 2 deaths, or even a spy. It's now become an option to either kill one or have one become a spy. So you can do whatever you'd like with that so long as one dies or becomes a spy.

Also, I forgot to say as a general note, you can have a post like yours that goes beyond the minimal requirement of "unfortunate struggle for your party". So you can do it like you did, but it's not required to go to that extent.

And also, sorry, 'cause I know this was late too, but any love interest between you and another? Or a triangle or something going on? =]

Final Showdown: Narshe (VI, after Kefka blows up half the world.)

1) Ashe (XII, my love, my wife, we will have tons of babies.)
2) Selphie (VIII, she wants my meat but I shun her.)
3) Vincent (VII, he dies at some point, tragic.)
4) Celes (VI, a spy of some sort.)
5) Auron (X, wise old man leads the way.)
6 and 7) Balthier and Fran (XII, those two just seem fun to hang out with.)

I wanted to add a few things. I hope it is not a problem
I had nothing else to do, so I just wanted to improve my skills in making up lame plots :P


My Info

Job/Class:
Dark Mage
- Doesn't use elemental magic like Black Mage.
Most of magics have the "dark" element (Dark, Darkara, Darkaga, Darkaja), like the opposite of Holy. Has some other skills like Blind, Demi, Karma (Tonberry's skill).

"Limit Break" skill is Thousand Days Of Darkness. Basically a dark magical attack which hits all enemies.

In Gameplay:
The damage calculated as follows:
1) Sum all enemies' MP
2) Multiple the sum by 1000

Then, it'll randomly hit enemies with 100 damage per hit (regetless of their defense) until total damage of what calculated before is reached.
Pretty much like Meteor.
Side effect of using the skill is Fade state. Which is the same as Dead/KO, but can't be revived with any skill or item. Can be revived only with full heal, like when touching a Save Crystal in FFXII or a Save Sphere in FFX.
If not revived after 1 hour, then it is impossible to revive anymore.

In real life:
A very strong attack which can kill almost everyone.
The caster than falls into a state named Fade which is like sleeping without the ability to wake up. If not healed by someone for 1 hours, then the caster dies.

1) Cloud [Dies]
The dictator gained power from an unsent (which many thought of as dead) named Yunalesca. She has the power to bring dead people from the back to the real world. Sephiroth was brought back by her.
Cloud, yet again, goes to defeat his old enemy. So he decides to join the team.

2) Auron [Dies]
A mysterious skilled swordman. He was asked to join the team because of his skill. Even though he is heplful, it its later revealed his is dead and that because of his strong spirit, Yunalesca couldn't control him.
But as the team comes close to the final battle location, and with that close to Yunalesca, he finally lose control of himself and fights the team.
Even though a decent opponent, he is defeated and tells the team that Yunalescal has 3 Dead Guardians as well as the Royal Undead who protects her. Another thing he says before dying, is that Yunalesca will soon summon the greates creature named Kami, who will destroy everything.
So they have to finish her off before she summons it.



3) Squall [Dies]
He soon learns about Yunalesca and my team, which tries to stop her.
He leaves his friends behind, so they'll defeat other enemies and will guard the citizens, and joins my team. Later, Rinoa is killed and Squall turns mad.
While the team busy fighting some enemies, he decides to split with the team and vanishes without anyone noticing. He then head to kill Rinora's murderer: Sephiroth.

When the team reaches Yunalesca's castle, which leads to Farplane, we meet Squall again who already died and then was returned to live by Yunalesca. He is now one of the 3 Death Guardians and don't let us pass.
As we are short on time, I suggest to stay and fight him while the others move on. I can't, however, to defeat Squall and end up using Thousand Days Of Darkness in exchange for my life, as the chance I'll be healed withn a hour is very low. Squall dies and I fall into Fade state.



4) Edea
Somehow, she regains her sorceress powers and yet again possesed by Ultimecia (who Yunalesca brought back to life). The team defeat her and Ultimecia lose control over her. She decideds to join the team.
In Yunalesca's castle, the 2nd Death Guardian is Ultimecia.
Eade stays to fight her while the others (Cloud and Ashe) move on.
She don't manage to defeat Ultimecia. But then spirit of Rinoa appears in front of her and gives her magical powers. Edea manage to kill Ultimecia and moves on to join the others.




5) Sephiroth [Dies]
He is the 3rd Death Guardian. Clouds decides to stay and fight him, even though letting Ashe going on alone isn't the best idea.
Cloud is defeated and killed by Sephiroth. His last words were: "I didn't think you like to be ordered around like a pet".
That line somehow affected Sephiroth.
He decides that he rather be dead, than be alive but receiving orders from someone else. So he goes to defeat Yunalesca and "joins" the team (or what left of it anyway)



6) Ashe
Her castle was attacked and most of her people died. She decided to take action and joined the team.



Final Battle

Location: Farplane

Boss:
Zack -
He is Yunalesca's Royal Undead. The first one who reached him was Ashe. But she didn't manage to do much and was almost killed.
But Sephiroth came and stroke Zack before he managed to kill Ashe.
Edea then comes as well.
Ashe is no more able to fight because of her injuries and Edea is too exhausted to use strong magic.
So it leaves Sephiroth to fight Zack, with Edea casting a spell from time to time. Zack became much stronger thanks to Yunalesca's powers and now offers quite the challenge to Sephiroth.
The time takes too long and Yunalesca summons Kami. But the summoned beast seems to obey Ashe because of her royal blood.
She asks him to leave, and he leaves. Yunalesca is tired from the summoning and don't know what to do, as her plan totally failed.
Thanks to that, Zack manages to gain control over himself and strikes Yunalesca to death.
With Yunalesca's death, all dead people she summoned vanished.
Happy Ending!

2. CH 2: Cloud (Dead) Killed by my hands when I betray the party after the death of Kuja. I merely needed him to help kill Kuja so I could take my rightful place as top villain. His persistent whining didn't help much either.
3. CH 3: Titus (Spy) Killed by my hands for his complete and utter betrayal, and the fact that I hate him didn't help much.
4. CH 4: Garnet (Love interest, but it doesn't work out after I betray everyone.)
5. CH 5: Eiko
6. CH 6: Freya
7. CH 7: Shadow (Dead) Kuja shoots off ultima and destroys him.
