Your Earliest Memory

My earliest memory is from when i was a baby.. Not sure of the age but it was before i could walk or talk.

I remember at nights I used to lie (that was pretty much all I could do =P) on the couch next to my mum and watch this cooking programme, and I remember one night where my mum forgot to put me in my cot, and I woke up in the blue-black living room and started crying, and my mum came down and took me back to my room. Quite a random thing but I remember it so clearly, and I must have been really really young at the time.

I was being forced to...uh...swallow something.

Hm. How strange.

I think it was medicine. I hate cough syrup. Yeah.

My first memory is from when I was 2-3, I remember I was sitting on a bleach playing with a walkmen, I though it was so cool, I really liked pressing the buttons :D.

My earliest memory was when I was 3, my family went to disney world... I remember I was disappointed because I wanted to ride space mountain, but was too short, we didn't go to the Indiana Jones show, which was another thing I wanted to go to... Also, Haunted Mansion opened up that year as well... I wanted to go, but the line was too long...

I remember being sat in my high chair looking at my non too appealing food, dunno how old I was but I'm assuming I must have been toddlerish xD

The first memory I can remember coherently is of my family moving to Chicago. I think I was around 3 or 4. We were moving into an apartment building and when we got there it was really late; I think it was the middle of the night. Our apartment was on the top floor. I was really tired and I was annoyed that I had to climb so many damn stairs.

My earliest child memory was when I was about 4, when I had my b-day party in my basement, and few of my friends, who are Italians and Croatians, came down and guess what. No gifts. I didn't know what was a gift at that time, since I had hearing loss and I couldn't hear well. And I remember those balloons under my bed...those red, green, and yellow balloons, floating under my bed, which haunted me ever since, to this day. Ima go check if they still under bed now.

Enough with the hearing loss thing. You say that every opportunity you get, it's pathetic. There are people here with conditions worse than yours and we don't publicize it every opportunity we get. Accept it and deal with it.

And I don't believe for one second you didn't know what a present was because you were hard of hearing. Your mom could have yelled you the definition in your ear, or wrote it down, or better yet showed you a present. This isn't LiveJournal.

Anyway, one of my earliest memories:

Hrmm...I remember a Superman movie, I forgot which but it had that corny solar-powered villain who grew his fingernails out really long, it scared me xD

My father was proud of me for some reason and he told me that I could chose any toy in the store xP

Damn, that is so sweet.

Mine was between 87-92, but i'm going to assume it was before 90. My mum asked me to stay in the living room and I remember thinking "That's what you think" and following her into my bedroom. I was unpunished as far as I can remember.

I'm not sure if I remember this, or if it's just from pictures of when I did this, but my dad and I were in the kitchen and we were putting dry ice in juice and it was smoking all over the sides of the glass. It was neat at the time.

My earliest memory was when I was still a tot. I was asking my mother why some streetlights were red while the others were green, and why they weren't the same color at the same time. After trying to explain it to me, my mother finally had to take down our laundry room whiteboard and draw for me a diagram depicting two green lights and the resulting car accident. Yep, I was a genius in the making.

My earliest memory is one which I can't place with a time; I have no idea when it happened. I just remember playing with pipecleaners by my parent's bed; doesn't sound too safe, does it?

My earliest memory was going to a bowling alley when I was like four or five. I was playing with the pay phones and had accidentally dialed 911.

Bored, I hung up the phone and a few minutes later, the front desk was called.

I also remember being in a car seat, I was talking to some boy, who was a little older then me. I think I was three, or maybe a bit older. But then its all blank from there, we were driving somewhere and it was in my mom's old car, but thats all I remember.
