XBox XBox Voice Chat

Do you guys often use this? And is there anyone here that you voice-chat with frequently?

I actually forgot that a headset came in the box until recently when I had accidentally added my cousin to a party and all of a sudden I heard his voice on my TV. I called him via cell phone and asked him what's he doing on my TV and he told me I should have a headset included. xD Silly me.

Anyway, I kinda like this. I just got done talking to SorceressEdea7 (Siren) for almost an hour while playing The Last Remnant. It was pretty cool since she was informing me about the game and giving me tips here and there. Very helpful.

Then there's also Shu. xD Although we don't actually talk there, he'll send me voice messages every now and then and I swear I have the hardest time understanding him at times.

I should give out more voice-messages to my friends and hear me ROAR! (Actually I'm pretty quiet). But yeah, this is very handy if you really wanna talk to your friends online. (I have a total of 5 from here). It's free and you don't have to use your cell phone minutes or anything. I'm not much of a conversationalist but I must say Siren really did get me going. =]

I only ever talk to one person, and that's usually when we're playing a game together. So that's either in Resident Evil 5 or Halo Wars.
It's useful in that situation because it allows for you to actually play as a team, rather than trying to guess what your team mate is going to do.

Well as Mits said, I send voice messages, but I do that very seldom to people just because I usually am in a party just about 99% of the time on Xbox360. I usually send voice messages, just because I am being respectful and some people are just getting into the whole "voice comms" bit on Xbox360. If I were to invite people to Voice Chat or Party Chat every moment they entered on xbox360, it would be kind of rude in my opinion.

My thing is I have a very ... outgoing personality when it comes to real life in general, so when I get on Xbox it is more of a release than anything else. I never bring work or personal life into the atmosphere, because that is to be left at work or home. If someone is causing drama I usually tell them to shut it quite quickly or dilute the situation. Why... well lets see.

Between the girl gamers we have - Midnyte, City, Eski, cantrixx, pan1c (my girl), queen - and when some guy puts a foot in his mouth, well drama tends to ensue naturally. We have quite a few guy gamers, who are quality fellas, and already rooted out the bad from the good it seems, and play just about every night. My only complaint is that Xbox live parties are unstable at times, they disconnect people at random, and then also they only hold 8.

I just am usually sending messages back and forth to people just to say.. wassup, or what game we are throwing in. Thank god there are games like Halo which hold up to 16 people, so we can all cut back and talk shiznit to eachother. Its all fun around these parts.

To be honest sometimes I'm more of the reserved type, but if I'm getting my ass handed to me by say MidNyte or Prime, I tend to be very verbal =).

Also Xbox is new to me in general, because I was always a Playstation fan. I just move with the change these days though.

Ummm yeah Xbox voice chat is something I use quite frequently. I would love to have some voice conversations with some people on the forum. I think I have like 3 from here not sure. Well Its fun and much easier than just texting. But I have the keyboard for texting on my controller so I do both really. Voice chat is mostly useful in shooting games but in Halo 3 all you here is STAY TOGETHER OR FUCK I DIED!!! Yes and it can be useful for rpgs too. Lol I have 4 big rpgs to pass on 360. Xbox 360 comes with headset so why would someone not use it? I think I only spoke to Aztec and Busta once. But I know Busta sent me like 3 voice messages.
