I've noticed that in many animes women are used as objects of sex in order to sell and only there, video games too,not to mention how popular is Jap porn and hentai.I haven't really lived in Japan and don't know if in the every day life women are thought that way(schoolgirls too since in Japan schoolgirls are considered sexy and someone much older who likes them isn't considered a pedophile, not too sure though).
Even when in animes they make strong girls(both personality and strength)they always have to offer some fanservice to attract the male audience.I realise that this doesn't happen only in Japan but the image seen more in japanese anime and manga.

Its not just Japan. Sex sells, thats a fact. Everyone enjoys a bit of eye candy when they're watching a film, without it the film would no doubt be less popular. I dont really have any problem with it as long as the person focused around, is of age.
As for anime and hentai, its not real, it just provides quick relief for people who get off on seeing that sorta thing.

But I believe that watching too many anime/hentai can influence your way of thinking and if you see all the time women get treated that way and viewed only as sex object don't you start doing the same(of course it depends on the age, younger people can get influenced more easily since they haven't completely developed a personality yet and from what I know many underaged kids watch these shows)

You could say the same thing then about video games such as GTA, which ive played a lot yet ive never gone out and reinacted actions i did in the game. Comes downt to the person 99.9% of people arent going to be influenced to do bad things by something they watch.

Yeah. Watching some won't. But an obsessive viewing will, thats for certain.

For the younger ones, i do agree that it will alter their personalities, however mildly it may seem. The effects will be more obvious if they are more obsessed though.

Despite that, I think it's more of your own personality that will determine the effects. If you're going to get wavered by watching, then its a weakness, in a sense. Once again, I've got to emphasize self-control here.

Its your own control that will determine if you're going to take that opinion of girls around..

I don't think this is really exclusive to Japan.
Case in point:

If anything, Japan is more guilty of promoting sexuality of the underage. Shota/lolicon are large, popular subgenres of the Japanese porn industry (which is huge). Girls can actually sell their used panties to Burusera shops for spare change. These shops sell panties to pervy old men for their... personal needs. There's more, but I'm trying to make this short and quick.

Then again, at the same time, Japan sex crimes (from what I know) are significantly less than other parts of the world. So, you could also see these things as deterrents to sexually motivated crimes.

Exactly. No matter where you are, the media is rampant with sexuality; it's just part of the human equation. And everyone has turn-ons and even fetishes; it doesn't necessarily make them a bad person. They aren't hurting anybody by relishing in what stimulates them, whatever that may be. As long as they don't act on their desires, they aren't hurting anybody.

There, thats the point. After all, interaction with female friends may also help to keep the mindset of sexual equality.
