But seriously I'm excited for the Wii U... Gonna have to sell my Wii and a few games to pay for the rest of the system, but whatever...

What's the problem? The WiiMote and Nunchuck are 'Needed' in order to play, but I need to include BOTH in order to trade in my Wii for store credit for Gamestop. The Wii U lacks a WiiMote and Nunchuck, Nintendo ASSUMES that you already have a Wii and an extra WiiMote and Nunchuck... :|

It's not that big of a deal, but it strikes me as... Odd...
 
So you need a Wiimote to play the Wii U but it doesn't come with one? Someone in Nintendo's marketing department should be fired.
 
That is the goofiest thing I've ever heard. Even if it isn't the default controller, if it's required for some games, why not include them?
 
To be honest, the Wii wasn't all that much better than the generation that came before it, either.
 
so... there going give you a console with no controllers...and the controllers are probably going be $50-70 is my guess... so really.. the Wii-U is higher in price than they say...and still is going be cheaper than the next xbox or playstation..

Also... good luck to the Wii-U buyers, hope you find more than 2 games that you will be playing a lot after two weeks...
 
maybe wait a few months and see what games are out then... the ps3 started with shit all too, remember.
 
ps3 has mgs4 which was fucking awesome tbf and resistance and DMC4 if you like that

the only reason i waited for it really
 
None of those games appealed to me though, so PS3 had shit all for me. Where as Wii U has some games i do want at launch.
