In 1985 there was a riot that escalated due to similar events. Nothing was done. Another in the nineties. Nothing was done. An association of minority policemen in england actually advised other minorities to avoid joining the police force because of "institutionalized racism."
I'm not justifying rioting, but I am saying that there are justifiable reasons. But I also agree that much of the rioting stems from opportunistic jackasses. As I said before, it reminds me of the Watts riots in 1965. Terrible event, but the reasons behind the happenings were eye opening.
