out of shiva, ifrit, etc who is the weakest of them all and is the most useless to you? i always found Typhoon and Titan totally useless. how bout you guys

I desagree with you Rydia because ChocoMog can paralyse opponents including Jenova and the Materia Keeper for example...

The most pathetic summons are Ramuh, Ifrit, Shiva and Titan i found all the others useful but when your character gets powerful enough you don´t really need summons anymore except for maybe Knights of the Round!

Regular materia beats most of the summon materia.

Yeah its the summons that have effects that stand out from the croud cus when you get so far most of the summons do the same damage as each other i.e. max.

Its the summons like Titan that can completely miss a target that are not any good.

ChocoMog was pretty poor. Even though it could paralyse enemies. That's never been useful for me anyway because most enemies can be beaten easily enough.

chocomog was weak for me and i only used him for the small chance of getting fat chocobo

Titan, he never ever appealed to me and seemed to be the weakest summon. not even useful even when i first started using it :P

i think summons were pretty useless throughout the whole game, with the exception of KOTR. But Out the lot id say titan he couldnt hurt flying enemies and he reduced ur stats by quite a bit.

Summons are only good early on in the game since they cause significant damage. Later on though, you'll find that limit breaks get the job done better, and they even break the 9999 damage limit...

I rarely ever used Choco/mog. lol.
My favorite summons were Neo bahamut and Bahamut zero. =]

nothing ever "broke the 9999 damage barrier"....nothing...the only way something did is if you counted getting multiple shots in the same turn as "breaking the damage limit"...otherwise, no FF until X broke the damage limit EVER...

No, I mean as in Cloud's omnislash doing multiple hits at 9999 damage a hit.

Choco/Mog was by far the worst. The damage sucked even early on when you could just use Enemy Skills like beta and trine
