Who are your heroes? :elmo:

Some of mine... :ohshit:

...

1. Bruce Lee Words can't illustrate how awesome or superhuman his abilities were. Greatest of all time.

2. Andrew Jackson Engaged in an epic war with the 2nd US central bank, & killed it with his bear hands.

3. Robert A Heinlein Wrote some of the best scifi anyone has seen. He had amazing vision, originality and an outstanding work ethic.

4. Jesus Gave his life to save people who hated and despised him. Apprenticed no more than 20 disciples who set forth and conquered the entire world. 2,000 years later still going strong.

Bruce lee is pretty fucking awesome i have to agree.

Im not sure i have heroes but there are many people i respect alot.

Dave gilmour
Jim adkins
Pete huttlinger
Samuel l jackson :busta:
Paul riley

and the guy who made metal gear solid. I cant remember his name..Hideo kojima or something?

Omar Little. He was a modern day Robin Hood. Also he fought homophobia in a very real way, a great example to kids everywhere.

Thich Quang Duc. Anyone who sets themselves on fire for what they believe in is alright by me.

The rest of my heroes are all sportsmen, and most of them play Rugby or League.

was that the buddhist monk who burnt himself alive over the way buddihsts were being treated by the vietnamese goverment or something? I remember the picture. Apparently he never moved or uttered a sound. Scary.

That was the guy. It apparently did help out the cause of Vietnamese Buddhists, so it wasn't just an empty gesture. His heart wasn't burnt at all. Self Immolation isn't unheard of, but he took it pro.

Richard Feynman

He was a pretty amazing guy. He won a Nobel prize without having a ridiculously high IQ. Was on the committee to find out why the challenger spaceship exploded, and worked on the Manhattan project in Los Alamos. While he was working there he used to break into the safes with the most highly-classified documents. He worked out the safe combinations by guessing notable numbers in physics. Once he broke into a safe or filing cabinet he'd leave clues so it looked like a Soviet spy was at work. In one of the most secure facilities in the world, he thought it'd be funny to make them think they had a spy. There's a lot of other things he used to do there for fun, but it'd take a while to type them out. I will say though, that he used to borrow a friend's car to visit his sick wife in hospital. That friend actually turned out to be a real Soviet spy

I do have some others but I'll post them later rather than make a giga post no one will read

I have a book about him entitled: Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!.

I haven't read it, yet.

He sounds like a stereotypical brainiac. :ohshit:

I bet. :ohshit:

Those guys tank hits better than anyone!! Even ones to the groin.

That is his most famous one

He also made smoke signals in isolated corners of Los Alamos, so people ended up talking about an Indian ghost

He stood up in court to defend a strip club closing down because he used to eat lunch and derive his equations there

Niels Bohr sought him out for debates, because he was the only person so intimidated by Bohr's fame

Very typical stuff really

Ya i heard it made headlines all over the world so itd be hard for them to look the other way. Brave / crazy guy. I think someone in the Czech republic did something similar over something. Very vague but i cant remember what it was now.

Richard B Riddick OBV... :wacky:

Jesus is my hero :ryan: He died for my sins and I can't think of anything greater a man could do for you than that.

My grandpa is also my hero. He was a great man and he raised an amazing family. I wish he was still here with me physically :(

Glenn Jacobs (Kane): I've watched Kane wrestle my whole life. He's still going strong too. I feel like he's always been there for me. It was an honor to get to meet him in person in 2010

Mick Foley: this guy has given me more memories than almost anybody else. He's just a pure legend. It was an honor to meet him back in June this year.

John Cena: he's so Hard working, and loyal. Basically everything I want to be. I had the honor of meeting him in April 2005 & again in March of this year.

Mark Callaway (The Undertaker): My gosh Undertaker is just awesome. When I was little I feared his character, but as I grew older I grew a lot of respect for him. There's no other actor, wrestler, or celebrity I have more respect for, than The Undertaker.
