Has anyone ever had the annoying problem where someone adds you on MSN, or whatever, and doesn't speak to you for ages, and then, months later, pops up saying "Hi. Who are you?"

It happens to me all the sodding time, and it's really annoying x_x I mean, for Christ's sake! YOU added ME! You should know who I am! -__-

And then when you say "You added me" they get all pissy and say they didn't. Urgh. That's when I end up blocking them >_>
 
Heh, yeah that happens once in awhile, although not too much anymore since I don't make my MSN address public now. It doesn't really annoy me though. I'm more curious than anything, and I'm actually quite picky on whom I add on MSN anyway so I don't really have that big of a problem with it.
 
Doesn't happen to me since I don't accept requests from people I don't know. If I'm not sure who it is, but feel that I know 'em, then I'll just ask right at the get-go.

Also, you sorta have to be on MSN in order to encounter people like that. I'm never on, so that helps me avoid that problem.
 
It doesn't happen now, but i remember 4 years ago in school, me and my friends were on chat rooms and we added all the girls we could find :gasp: lol

I remember having more than 500 contacts in a few weeks, we used to make crazy huge convos with +50 people, it was insane, even emoticons didn't work.

And yes, a lot of times, it was very confusing since i didn't knew most of the people i added and always asking who i was. :D

Well, now i only add people i know and like to chat with, and when someone add me, i usually accept and ask who are they, if they come with lies or just for fun... Block!
 
I had someone do that to me the other day, it was rather amusing because he specifically asked for MY MSN, it's not as if he found it added me so yeah, I was a rather amusing wtf moment. XD
 
Equally irritating is when the excuse is "my pal sent me his contact list".

Just add the ones you know then, ffs.

Also, groups on Bebo like "1 million addies wants you to join!" and "come share every msn addy in the world wants you to join!" annoy the fuck out of me.
 
OMFG GEEEZ I FUCKIN HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENDS when some 1 adds me i just let them talk 1st cause i cant b fucked talkin to em and if they say hey who is this i block em straight away
 
Oh god yes. They add you, then don't bother talking to you.

Usally I'll just talk to them and say who are you? Then they'll say there name and your like 'Oh no shit I read it on your MSN name -__-' then they're like 'who are you?' then you'll be like 'Um do I know you?' Then they say, 'I don't know...you added me'...-_-

You just added me 8 seconds ago and you say I added you! D=<
 
Ive had a few people add me recently and then they don't bother to say who they are and Im like....o---k, who are you....

Im far too lazy to message them though, so I think it's about time I cleaned up my very messy contacts list and took my email address off my profile, it's rather irritating now,especially when I have a million people online and Im trying to find someone that may have changed their screen name :gasp:
 
I used to have that, but now I just don't add anymore people I don't know.
It helps that I don't really use MSN that much either.
I now only have classmates, real life friends and family in my list.
 
Ahh yeah that happens too often. Usually if I don't know who someone is but I think I know them in real life I will ask who they are, but otherwise I'll just ignore them and when they ask who I am it's funny because both of us have no idea how we met.
 
I get that all the time, and most of the time they aren't even on my msn list anymore. Or you get someone who adds you, but won't talk to you when you try IMing them. I never tell them who I am though. If they add me, they have to tell me who they are or they shouldn't have added me in the first place, regardless if they forgot.
 
that never usually happens to me, as my e-mail adress isnt really widespread, but i can imagine it being really irritating if it happens
