Mines is currently my PS2, although i predict it shall change to the PS3 when i get one next month xD

Also, this belongs in a subsection of Midgar, so i'll move it to the correct section now :)

You missed out the N64 and the original nintendo :P my favourite is the ps3 because it is finally a challenge-worthy console. The games finally make me think more and push myself.

There, I've edited the poll.

Let's see...I actually quite like the old Nintendo systems, as well as the Sega Genesis. But favorite one would definitely be the Playstation. PS2 was okay, but I honestly didn't really enjoy most of the games they came out with. I'm thinking it'll be the same for PS3, but I'm still getting it anyway just because I want to play FFXIII.

My favourite portable would be the ol' Gameboy colour. That thing provided me with endless hours of fun.
My favourite home console would be the Ps2. I just love the selection of games on it.

The N64. The fun factor can never be surpassed. If multiplayer heaven is what you're after in a games console, then it doesn't get any better than 4-player Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye and Mario Party. It also played host to some of the greatest single-player games ever made in Super Mario 64 and Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, with the latter cementing my love for Nintendo games forever. Good times indeed.

Despite their limitations with regards to multiplayer capabilities, the N64's predecessors the NES and SNES still offered immense fun too. The look on my brother's face after I gave him a thrashing in a game of Street Fighter II was just priceless. ^_^

For me it would be the XBox 360 cause it has amazing games for it and i love going online :D i also like my ps2 and thats a close second seeing ive had it for 5-6 years

Nintendo wii is awesome, as is ps2 and gameboy colour lol, but i voted for Sega Megadrive because i Loved that thing when i was younger =D=D=D

I'm going with the Nintendo 64. The console itself is reliable--it doesn't malfunction like the Xbox 360 (currently, my second favorite console) is likely to do. The controller, though a tad awkward in design, proved to work great with each and every game I played.

Some of my all-time favorite games are supported by the Nintendo 64.

-Goldeneye 007
-Star Fox 64
-Super Mario 64
-Donkey Kong 64
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
-Super Smash Bros
-Banjo-Kazooie
-Perfect Dark
-Mario Kart 64
-Conker's Bad Fur Day
-The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

At the time, there was nothing better if you were looking for a console that supported games with great multiplayer. Such games also contained terrific single player campaigns as well.

Of course, the console can't compete with juggernauts such as the Playstation III and Xbox 360, but I'll always consider it my favorite.

I dont know....I loved them all......i GUESS id have to say my PS2 just for the backward compatiblity...

I really love my mega drive & snes tho...even the NES was great duck hunt ruled!!!!!!!

Tough choice... I love most of them, especially the Playstation, PS2, PS3 and all of the original Nintendo consoles. So... I'm going to choose the console that has the largest number of my favorite games which is the Playstation console.

Definently the SNES. It was the golden age of RPG's and the days before video games started taking themselves way to seriously. There were very few games I was disappointed with on the SNES unlike many games now a days where it feels like games are a hit or miss.

Besides, you can't forget games like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV and VI, Breath of Fire I and II, Secret of Mana, Earth Bound, Donkey Kong Country and so many more classics.

Hands down my PS2. Sure, the PSone had a great library, but the PS2 had ten times the amount of fantastic games, plus backwards compatibility.

After that, the Game Boy line. We did alot of road tripping when I was younger, so I grew up with the GameBoy Pocket/Color/Advance as my best friend.

While my most used console would have to by my PS2, playing mostly PSX games, I would have to say my favorite is still the SNES, for the games that I think generally had a higher innovation to available technology rating.

My favorite console is the 16-bit Super Nintendo. The games released on this system were, by far, the greatest of their time. The 8-bit Nintendo would come in a close second for me with the PS2 in a close third.

Wow, Id say the PlayStation 1 and PS. I just loved he RPGs released on the console. They were great and Im a Sony fangirl. Theyve never let me down.
