Seriously. I know I complain alot but Jesus Christ these people are fucked. What is the point of watching someone you don't like just to leave negative comments? Does it really matter to you that people know that you don't like DragonForce? And what's up with the Highest Rated Comment bullshit? I guess it makes sense that you get recognition for posting something clever but most of the time one of the comments in that section is just someone posting a quote from the fucking video!!! And I gotta ask one more thing. Does it make people's lonesome, worthless lives more significant by being the first person to comment on a video? I mean really. It happens everytime. The person who's first to post always has to point that little fact out. As if they're going to become king because they waited for some video to come out. GOD!!!

It's funny how now every single video I look at, now that you can see how many people like/dislike the video, someone will always point out that those people are "losers" in some "clever" way >_> Like, for the Overweight Hedgehog song by Parry Gripp, 27 people didn't like it, so someone said "27 people are overweight hedgehogs." And then, and then, these commenters have the most thumbs-up votes on the entire list :ffs:

I've never bothered reading the comments on youtube. For the exact reasons that have been stated. Yes, including the paint thinner.

comment upvoting means absolutely nothing these days

people abuse comment votes by making a bunch of alt accounts and upvoting spam on major videos. luckily all comments are removed from highest-rated after a fixed period, seems to be about 8 months in most cases
