This thread is about things that you think SHOULD be more popular than they are and I thought Mutemath to me was one of those things, feel free to discuss about other things that other people post about what they think should be more popular.

Alright, there is a band called Mutemath that I really like. They aren't all that well known even after being around for a good 6+ years...

I think their music is unique but it has that oldie feel to it, which I find very cool.
 
When bands become popular all the original fans yell YOUV SOLD OUT!!! Its cool to like bands that no ones heard of.There are so many great artists who dont ever become famous but theyre great and id like to see them get more recognition. Nick Motil comes striahgt to mind.

My dyslexia got the best of me and I thought Nick Motil looked like Nikki Minaj for a second :lew:

Nick Motil couldnt be any different from that slapper. Hes a very small time american acoustic guitar player / singer. Made some excellent music.

it is. i love liking artists that aren't so mainstream. not because they sell out but just because they tend to be more down to earth and more involved with their fanbase.

anyway, i do believe there are underrated bands out there; two being chevelle and silversun pickups. i think it's insane that they sell less then 100,000 records, i really do. i mean, they're so brilliant, both lyrically and musically. i know it sounds stupid or whatever, but the songs that they wrote really help me get through a lot of crap in life and i just can't imagine not listening to them. like ever. while i don't want them to be "popular" in the sense of like lady gaga or tim tebow's fame, i do wish that more people gave them the love that they seriously deserve.

recognition is all i ask for.

I just like what my ears like and thats how i go with music. Nick Motil who ive spoken with on twitter and is a really cool guy btw is the only one i can think of that i listen to who is very very very unknown. My friend Austin is a great guitarist and singer and he is very unknown.
 
Hercules Returns.

A very funny Australian movie with a lot of great jokes if you manage to understand them and yet it's hardly known by anyone ;___; EVERYONE should watch this movie, it's like the only good Australian film ever.
 
the airborne toxic event are another excellent band that aren't as famous as they should be. i think they might be a bit bigger over in america than they are here though? david ford, jon amor and the naked & famous are also all great.

i also think christopher nolan and danny boyle should be more famous than they are.

Anyway, obviously I'm gonna say WWE should be more popular than it is.

But if you all want something else, I'll say DaveDays. His music is pretty good. I really dig it. He started to gain popularity in the age of Bieber. If you ask me, I think Dave should have the spot that Justin Bieber has right now. Dave is easily the better singer of the two.

Another is Astro. Yes I like the guy. I loved his rap in "Want U Back". I would like to see him do more collaborations with more well known artists. It'll help him get his name out there more.

they've been around for what seems like ages now. they seem to get so much abuse over a couple of bombings which the huge majority of them didnt play any part in other than believing in the same vengeful, malicious god that the bombers believe(d) in. i mean we dont hate catholics because the ira nail bombed a few places. we hate them because they enable and protect child rapists. i think muslims definitely deserve some love. even the bombers. especially the bombers. jesus always said turn the other cheek.
