On anything about her.

Um, I like her. She's a good character. She's the true protagonist of XII. She starts a bit cold and distant with the other characters but she eventually befriends them. I like how the writers made her face various moral decisions throughout the game and in the end she made the right choices.

Indeed, at first she was cold and distant to the other members. But then I started to like her. Her character design was great, her outift and such did appeal to me lol.

me too she is sexy I think she is scared at first but now She has the power in her heart that she wants to become queen. She is sometimes sad because her husband prince rassler died. I also like how she kept her name Almania at first.

Mod Edit: Please add a bit more effort to your post as this is considered spam. (Ie. Rather than saying she is just sexy, why don't you go in details about her personality and actions throughout the game.) Thanks.

I know a lot of people dislike her and that's understandable, but I happen to like her quite a lot. I find her interesting that she seems so reserve and distant...and yes, quite cold. I like that about a heroine, to be honest, and not your average happy-go-lucky type of female characteristics. Her role in the game is quite intriguing as she was determined to prove her royal blood after laying low from her staged "suicide", and of course it gets more complex from there, but quite interesting nonetheless.

I think she is selfish and full of self importance. She stops Vayne from giving people self-determination, just so that she can be Queen of Rabanastre. She's also boring as besides wanting to be queen she wants revenge for Rassler's death, which means she values her life more than other people's.

Shes a determined character who wants her kingdom retored to its former glory. She will risk herself for her task and is headstrong when it comes to achieving her goal but she will take risks in going about things but will take logical appraoches to things. Over all a good character.

That about sums in up in my opinon.

She's not perfect. Her costume is lovely and all. What she needs is a little sense of humour ;) Ashe is too upset over Rasler and is clearly nervous from becoming a queen.

People, puh-leeze. Ashe is a total nutburger. Reasons:
1. She's like Larsa- she thinks she's cool just because she hid behind a pseudonym (fake name). When you meet her in the Garamsythe Waterway, she's like "I will accept your help though it be from thieves". Jeez, lady. You have a gun-wielding sky pirate and a bicycle-kicking viera. Shut up and accept their help.
2. The Occuria make Rasler's ghost appear to manipulate her into doing their work.
3. Just because I don't like her.
4. She's all lovey-dovey with Vossler, who- guess what?- becomes Benedict Arnold and tries to turn them over to the Empire. What a tool.
5. Al-Cid likes her. And no one likes Al-Cid.

I don't think she thinks she's cool because she's using a fake name.
I think she uses a fake name because she is believed to be dead. And she doesn't want to stand out. (if everybody thinks you're dead it would make it easier to fight alongside resistance members.)
Like Dagger/Garnet in IX.
I think she's a good character that grows troughout the story. And in the end, it doesn't matter that they made Rasler apear, because she isn't that influenced by it. She makes the right choices in the end.

PS, our crownprince used a fake name once to be able to enter in a skating 'contest' we have in this country. it is called 'elfstedentocht' which roughly translates as "eleven cities journey". Skating trough eleven cities on natural ice in a day.
Anyway, point is, he used a fake name so the press wouldn't be al over him. Its a big event, so the press got hold of it anyway, but still Its not uncommon.

Hmmm. But remember that after beating Belias and entering the Dawn Shard chamber, Rasler's ghost appears to coerce Ashe into taking the Dawn Shard, which ends up in the hands of the Empire until stupid Ghis runs some tests on it. Boom.
And it would be better if the Resistance knew who she really was. It would let them know that all wasn't lost, yet, which would give them a morale boost, resulting in a bigger number of dead Imperials.

But if the resistance knew it was only a matter of time before everyone else did.
I guess with the Dawn Shard thing you have a point. But what would you do in a situation like that really..
I'd have to play the game again to fully understand the impact of every action she makes because of Rasler or anyone/anything else.

omg, I played the game and I´m almost sure I have no impressions of the characters (maybe I have that Alzheimer thing).

Now returning to the subject: I liked Ashe, as I did with the others. But in

the end no one marked me as a rpg gamer. Maybe they´re a bit

forgettable. Ashe was great in recovering her throne back and saving her

people from the evil hands of that Vayne.

That she did very well for sure, but did not when staying in my mind for

years like Yuna or Aerith did. I´m about to say what I always said: the

game needed more passion and less adult complainigs. Even the final scene

beteween Fran and Balthier moved me such as a Aerith being killed with a

giant katana, or a Tidus fading away to the Farplane.

Those were my thoughts anyway.

Good Job

She is extremely realistic in a lot of ways. FFXII people did a great job with her.

She fights the fight.

She looks just like Yuna, as a matter of fact, my first reaction when I saw her was: what's Yuna doing in FFXII? The creators could've put a little more effort in the appearances of the characters while Vaan makes me think of Tidus all the time.

They needed to revise her outfit. Do away with the metal collar, and put the rest on some redhead with a big-ass katana and four-foot hair. Give Ashe shorts and a T-Shirt.
Ashe was, in my opinion, useful only for passing the dense Mist in the Feywood. That, and building up 8-hit comboes on Yazzy with 99 Speed and an Orochi.

I actually though before playing the game that she'd be one of my top 3 characters I'd use. However, I went away from that once I found out how good Balthier, Basch, and Vaan as my main fighters.

Personality-wise I didn't find Ashe to attractive in her attitude when we first encounter her in the sewers. However, even though she snaps at almost every person throughout teh game, I realize she's got a huge burden on her shoulder and has gone through a lot. The death of her fiance, her fathers murder, the dreams she has where she believes she see's her fiance, and her encounters with the Undying.

Starts off a cold and bitter bitch, but actually turns out to be a respected leader in the eyes of many and even me as a gamer.

Ashe seems more like a main character point of view, but in the game she was made out to be a co-character. and as for her looks, i think they should have given her a little more something HER age, she looks like a 16 year old girl to me, Isn't she supposed to be a princess???

They look nothing alike.

I liked her a lot more than the standard rpg-princess. She's been through a lot and is still fighting for her kingdom and what she thinks is rights.

What I liked most is that there are no dragging love-problems involving her throughout the game. She isn't there for the romance.
