What is on Tidus' legs?

One can presume that -considering this seems to be the Zanarkand Abes' uniform- it's a waterproof undergarment. Though why he'd wear clothes on top of that is beyond me. Not very... dynamic.
 
it's a pair of water proof shorts that keep him warm when he comes out of the Blitz arena/pitch, they are probly made of a similar material to Cycling shorts (Lycra or Spandex)
 
yeah the spandex he wears on his leg kind of reminds me of under armour. and the rest of the stuff on his leg im assuming is blitzball stuff.
 
Ahh, I've often thought it a funny outfit too! Now it all makes more sense! :) Either way, I wish I could design complicated clothing like the clothing in Final Fantasy X. I do think that the designs in X and XII are some of the best.
 
I say it's the Zanarkand Abes uniform...Tidus's whole outfit is the Zanarkan Abes uniform.:)

Yeah I never really figured out what it was but I took the same guess about it being something for blitzball.
 
It looks like a part of his shorts. But it could possibly be a water suit of some kind.
 
Tidus' legs? There's something on them? It's probably Wakka's hand or something...

Just another strange article of clothing, it seems.
