What Are You NOT Loking Forward To In The Final Fantasy X Remaster?

So, as the title says. What are you NOT looking forward to having to do/put up with again.

I'm a bit of a trophy hunter on PS3, and I'm almost certain that there'll be a trophy on this for fully upgrading the Celestial Weapons to full power. On that note, I'm not looking forward to:
  • Dodging lightning 200 times
  • Finding all the cactuars
  • Catching the butterfles
  • Having to do just about all of the side-quests to power up these weapons...
 
The chocobo race to power up Tidus' Caladbolg :hmph: I raged so much at that.
 
All of the above. Lightning dodging especially.
I am also not particularly enthused about playing a lot of blitzball again. Fun------>boring
 
i quite like blitzball... but yh dodging that lightning gonna be fun.... i just spam x and hope for the best....

the dark aeons as well.. if i get the remaster.. i'm gonna do them :hmph: if it kills me
 
I remember trying to dodge lightning 200 times. Oh man that was such a a pain in the butt. I don't think I will ever be able to doit again. Another thing that I'm not looking forward to is to do the blizball games. :hal:
 
I feel sorry for you people who have to do all that again. I did some of those things once in my life. NEVER AGAIN :O

But yes, chocobo racing, blitzball, catching butterflies, dodging thunder, capturing every monster, getting all that stuff you need to fill the sphere grid...

Why would anyone want to do that AGAIN :(

Spamming X = Thunderstruck
If you try spamming X it'll hit you without the flash/warning. Don't spam :spam:

This is what I'm looking FORWARD to :D I enjoyed hunting monsters and filling Le Grid :whistle2:
 
All of the above mentioned I have a dislike for... Especially the chocobo race for Tidus' weapon. OMFG.
This thing drives me crazy!!! I swear, more controllers have died from this than anything else. You will find after so many tries I turn into a hysterical lunatic and scream, swear and throw things around the room. Yes. It's just a game... But I really want that pretty weapon ;;

Other things I'm not looking forward to.... The opening 3 hours of the game. I always get bored to be honest. Many FF's are slow to kick off so I have to pick a time where I'm feeling patient. In FFX I hate that part when you are swimming with Wakka to Besaid... the Boat ride to Luca... Urrrgh purlease.... (don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game).

Mmm... trying to think of some new stuff... but I can't... maybe later.

That is if they remaster the PAL version. Somehow I don't see that likely :hmmm:
 
fighting Yunalesca and Seymour flux again.

I think the game over music was installed into my brain from all the times I died.

oh and the butterflies. I liked the racing(insane. i know.) and didn't even bother with lulu. (i just used spheres to give Yuna Black magic. Lolz)
 
Yunalesca was a bitch, but I surprisingly didn't die. Took me a while to beat, though. If Seymour Flux is the final fight with him (my memory fails me), then I don't care. I had celestial weapons and high stats so I destroyed him in a matter of seconds. :D
 
Ohhh. I forgot the names :lew: Yeah, that one was annoying. I went back a screen and got overlimits on all of Yuna's Aeons and spammed them on him just to get past it :lew:
 
Oh guys, no one's holding a gun up against your head making you do all the sidequests.

That said, every time I play the game I kinda dread going through the Bevelle temple. I am the only person that found that part really annoying?

And the first hour or so of the game, too. Some of Tidus' dialogue in the beginning is just so bad. I remember playing it for the first time and I was like nooooooo, what have they done? But it got better, much better. It's my favorite FF. :)

I'd just like to know the specifics of what they're updating, honestly.
 
I don't plan on getting this 1) because I didn't actually enjoy FFX as much as most people here and 2) I'm happy with the PS2 version I have anyway. However, I can totally see myself squirming at the thought of those Cloister of Trials again. I hated every one of them and they made me dread rather than look forward to whatever was coming up later in the game. Another thing I would not look forward to if I were to play it again would be the mandatory Blitzball games in Luca. Boy, do I hate Blitzball.

Other than that, the other horrible stuff are optional sidequests, so it's a simple case of not doing them unless you're a completionist who wants every trophy. xD

I honestly don't see why they can't do that. The PAL version if I recall correctly, is more or less the Japanese International version of the game (you know, because back then games from Japan took forever to finally reach European shores and all that...). They can just remaster the International version and result, as it's kind of already in English and Japanese already. It's the perfect excuse for SE to give the North Americans the Dark Aeons as well and it's easy as well.

But alas, I know Il biuy the game (again. I seem to have duiplicates of every fucking game thse days) and Il be aiming for 100% completion despite my blood pressure
 
Most likely playing Blitzball again. Since I really do not go for trophies and usually just Achievements on 360, this can be a start. I doubt I will try and go for 100% because of the annoying things. Catching the monsters, blitzball, those horrible sidequests etc. I am really not a fan of those sidequests. :hmph: I will buy the remastered version simply because I really liked FFX. Hmmm can I say I am not looking forward to that laughing scene again?

I actually had a lot of fun catching the monsters, but that was it.

I can't imagine FFX without the Dark Aeons :hmmm: That would be like FFVII without The Weapons, or VIII without Ultima Weapon, or IX without Ozma or XII without The Dragons... They NEED to do the International Version, it just won't be the same without The Dark Aeons
