Ah, nice choices. IX is my personal favourite, but X comes a close second. Yeah, I agree about the series after X. Not very good at all...although you may like XII? It's either love or hate, and it's hard to tell who'll like and who'll hate. If that makes sense :/

I'm sure they're great games, I was just massively put off by the way they looked. I prefer the drawn backgrounds. Especially IX. Loved the cartoony feel some of it had. Almost Disney-esque.

I hope you enjoy your stay here and keep active. It's good to see another FFIX fan here, I love the game a lot and it is my favourite one out of the franchise. FFXII is very good in my opinion but I can see why not everyone likes it, FFXIII and FFXIII-2 I own and really like as well but I accept any form of games and play them for their own merits.
