I cant afford a ps3, so when I heard that FFXIII Verses was exclusively for ps3, I was quite unhappy. Now, I DO NOT HATE THE PS3! I actually wish I had one. Its just that, I cant afford a ps3. Is there any chance of a Xbox 360 port?:ohshit:

Well, actually, if I understood correctly... FFXIV was a MMORPG... online, and a computer game...? I'm not entirely sure, and someone may correct me if I'm wrong. I think you may be confusing FFXIV with FFXIII: Versus...

Alas, I have no PS3 or Xbox 360, so I won't be getting FFXIII or Versus xD And I don't want FFXIV, because I don't like online games that you pay monthly for. Agito here I come >.>
 
I agree! and it is online! and sumboddeh better get me a ps3 for christmas...I wanna have a fantasy too...
 
From what I have read, it should be released for PC and PS3 both can work together. I don't understand why not, it would be very disappointing.

Yes. Whilst I would have got it for PS3 if I wanted the game, from a marketing point of view it would be stupid for them to not put it onto the 360, especially with the popularity of Xbox LIVE.

Anyhow, there will be a port. Whilst there hasn't been an official announcement, I read a while ago the reason the 360 version is being held up is to do with something about the Xbox LIVE policy. Something along those lines anyway. But it's all but confirmed really. :)
 
Look on the bright side! If you haven't got a PC good enough to run Final Fantasy XIV well, you may need to fork out even more than the price for the PS3! The PS3's price isn't too bad nowadays than it was before. The slim is about £249.99 (in the UK that is!) when it was over £400 at launch.

An Xbox 360 port can be possible, if SE can get their heads around Microsoft's annoying Xbox LIVE policies.
 
I too dont have a PS3 OR 360 (need one badly).The new FF games look like alot of fun sadly i wont be playing them.I did not know that you had to pay to play online tho that sucks,as for a port to play it I havent herd anything about that, it may come to play on PC tho well mabe.

Don't worry. I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunities to buy either console until SE releases any of their next generation Final Fantasy titles. FFXIII is expected approximately next spring or possibly sooner, Versus XIII will be a while away yet and FFXIV will be next year.

FFXIV is the online game- and yes fees are mandatory, because SE needs to find an efficient way to get money off people for such a high-cost production game. It's out for PS3 and PC. It is possible an Xbox 360 version may follow.
 
It is a multi-platform, just remember FFXI came out on PC first. So I believe the same thing will occur with this game. The thing that I loved about FFXI was that there were no disadvantages really between console gaming and PC gaming, both had the same processing speed just about for handling this game.
 
I currently have a 360 but I will be buying a PS3 to coincide with the FFXIII launch as well as FF XIV and you can rest assured that I might as well grab V XIII when that comes too. So I'm heavy with the FF starting spring 2010. Sort of excited.
