Playstation Valkyrie Profile Series

I cant speak to the first game or its subsequent spinoffs.
But Valkyrie Profile 2 was a great game, I echo your sentiments about the battle system,
it was dynamic and fun very strategic......my kind of game, unfortunately it stopped on the Approach to Midgar, it was a technical issue and not 3 different games could bring me closer to finishing the game.
I also lied the idea of the Bonus Orbs......2X EXP, 1/2 Damage or summats very ingenious

I loved the first VP. It was the very first game I ever bought for my PSP and even to this day, I play it over and over again non-stop. I've never played the PS1 version but I heard that both versions are the pretty much the same with a few minor differences, like with the CG cutscenes replacing the animated ones, improved sound and etc. VP2: Silmeria is amazing as well, but the first game is still my favorite out of the series. I haven't played Covenant Of The Plume yet.
