[V7] What are you currently listening to?

Moonlight Sonata is probably my favorite piece of music ever. The arrangement of notes and chords is just absolutely beautiful. Beethoven is my favorite composer not only because of his music but also because I can very much relate to his highly dysfunctional personal life. He was a very abused child, his father drunkenly broke his hands when he was in grade school with a walking cane because young Ludwig missed a note during a Mozart piano piece during rehearsal time. Because of his father's abuse, he never married. Although a letter was found after his death in which he left all of his assets to his "Immortal Beloved," an anonymous mistress, whom never came forth for the claim. Furthermore, post-mortem, his skull was removed from his grave as during that time period it was common for aristocrats to seek out to obtain the skulls of deceased, considerably brilliant artists and men. Last to have Beethoven's skull was supposedly composer Sergei Rachmaninoff of which it was never found amongst his things after Rachmaninoff himself died, so Beethoven's skull is a lost mystery.

I see you at the window sill,
The rain it won’t stop, the air it’s so chill.

I took your hurt and made it mine.
Do my best to justify it.

Call it pleasure but it feels like pain.
So how we let it get this way?

I need a little bit of patience,
'Cause we've been going through these changes.
I need a little bit of patience,
Get out of crazy situations...

And my heart won't change,
If my head don't break.

I need a little bit of patience,
'Cause we've been going through these changes.

Dunno who the feck these people are, bar Yungblud, but it's a tune because of him. /fangirl

Admittedly, it's fun as Hell to play in slap on bass. This was the last thing I taught myself how to play in slap before I put my bass up.

Posted the music version rather than the video because spoilers...
For real though, Wandavision nailed the different eras of sitcom theme tunes (this one being the 80s). Brilliant soundtrack in general. I've been listening to it since the series ended.

Also the lyrics in these songs are clever hints at what is going on...

"And if the day came when I felt a natural emotion
I'd get such a shock I'd probably jump in the ocean!"

:argor:

That's the piece I'm trying to learn at the moment. I still have a long way to go but it's very exciting!

Woah! If you succeed in this challenge then you'll have more than just a mythological interest in common with Orpheus!
All the best with that.

apple music finally added lynch. after years of begging lol
(been listening to all my old fav jrock and vkei bands these days oops)

I was fighting nothing.
You’re so God damn impossible, it hurts.
I fall on the purpose and all my worth, I’m at my worst now.
I was starting over, I walk through the city and come undone.
I count on the seasons to fill me up; They fill me up now.

Now I’m six years older, I walk past the feelings of giving up.
Spent days all alone out in Central Park; it’s like I’m getting closer now, but I’m still hanging over.
Still cut from the plight of a former love; I swear that I needed it all.
I leave everyday with my faults.

Run away, I wanna run away.
A feeling that I couldn’t stop; The seasons of fear that I’m gone.
Maybe I fucked it all this time.

I breathe in the open air; all of my words will run out.
All of my nightmares are heavy, I scatter them out on the ground.
You can see through my broken stare, lost in the colour of sound.
Even if I wasn’t ready, the silence is coming now.

I just had so much to say, but you don't want to hear it anyway
So I will sit and keep my mouth shut.
You won't hear from me for months, or years, or I don't even care how long
Cause I don't want to think about you anymore!

Trying to catch your heart is like
Trying to catch your heart is like
Trying to catch your heart is like
Trying to catch your heart is like

Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart,
Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart
Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart
Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart into my arms
That's where you belong
In my arms baby, yeah

silent hill games had lots of nice tracks
(still haunted by eileen's creepy giant-ass head with the death stare though wtf I can never forget it)

Trying to catch your heart is like
Trying to catch your heart is like
Trying to catch your heart is like
Trying to catch your heart is like

Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart,
Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart
Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart
Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart into my arms
That's where you belong
In my arms baby, yeah
We said listen, not watch :D
