Playstation Uncharted III: Drake's Deception Thread

What made me question it though is that Drake and Sully said that the Dead Agent corpse looked very old, as if it had been slowly decomposing over a period. What the spiders did to Harris was instant. Mind you, while I saw Harris' death I did not examine his body afterwards. I was too busy running away from the spiders! :O

Perhaps Drake and Sully only said that the corpse looked old because the spiders had essentially ripped and sucked all of the juices out of the body and made it look that way, rather than actually being a long dead agent. If Harris did look exactly like the Dead Agent, then that's what happened then.

Yeah, Dan he looks exactly the same a sthe dead agent, as yes they are both rotting. Rotting awhile there? It could be possible, but maybe he died as soon as the agents appeared in the Chateau.

kira and i got over it

i think it's time you did too :)

Thank you for contributing with this post. I do not have to "get over" anything, as I was not even talking to you.

ironic you two think you are the intelligent ones here

I do not claim I am a genius at all, so that is irrelevant. :wacky:
"Yah, duh of course he was mauled by the spiders. It is a foreshadowing device, but some people will still question why he was left there with no explanation whatsoever. When Harris dies, you can clearly see he becomes mauled just like the dead agent. That makes you as a player assume that they suffered the same fate. Now, you can not exactly put two and two together. He was just left there, and you find out the spiders are sealed, which ultimately confuses people. You HAVE to explore, in my opinion to know that it was the spiders. The foreshadowing is obvious, but some people like going at it even more, Livi. You should just accept the fact, and stop making such a fuss over it :wacky:"

see bold, italicized and underlined parts for condescending remarks.

Really, guys? How old are you all?

All I was commenting on is that the spiders were sealed in the lab until Nathan and Sully released them, I was not trying to figure out how the agent died. Let me explain this again for the sake of clarification.

The spiders are sealed in the lab until Sully and Nathan enter, ergo releasing them.

The spiders stay out of the light.

You encounter the dead agent before releasing these spiders.

The dead agent is laying in sunlight.

It is a forshadowing tool, I understand that, however, the issue is that it was something ND simply overlooked and was a cutscene that could have been completely removed from the game and nothing would have come from it.

Who said the spiders were sealed btw?

You will encounter the spiders when you fall down the chimney/secret passage.
Which chapter was the lab? I thought the lab was AFTER this event.

Woho I have missed this one as well:

Im confused when was the real first time we SHOULD have spotted spiders xD.
I dont think they were sealed anywhere Jeff. :hmmm:

JOHN DEE"S LAB IS AFTERWARDS Jeff :griin:

After months of sleeping on uncharted I finally went out and bought the uncharted 3 ps3 bundle and am quite satisfied. The game is great with graphics and story telling. But a perfect 10/10 idk. It's good but not that good. Essentially a male version of tomb raider. But I am enjoying it and gonna press on to part 2 after this one. I just wish they had some cgi videos instead of all in game engine clips.

UC3: Shade Survival mode coming next week

Naughty Dog’s announced it’s to release Shade Survival mode for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception next week, March 13.

[UC3 spoilers abound]

uc3-shade-survival.jpg

The mode, teased last month, is a co-op mode where you take on swarms of the Djinn. In case you need a refresher, those are the fiery creatures that appeared near the end of the game. And a proper bastard to beat too.

You and a buddy will have to take on wave after wave of Djinn until you finish all eight rounds, with each round seeing the Djinn getting stronger and stronger with items like “extra armour and firepower.”

The mode will cost you $5.99 on its own, but is free for members of the Fortune Hunters’ Club.

Naughty Dog also confirmed on the US PS Blog the next bit of DLC, due next month, will be its final commitment to the FHC.

Get a video for Shade Survival below.

I just watched the trailer there to get in the mood, I am on my midterm next week so I am finally going to pick it up. I see that stupid cunt Elena is back, but so is Chloe so that makes me happy. Hopefully Flynn has an identical twin called Blynn, whom Elena will try to 'save' him and get a dynamite to the face.

Naughty Dog teases final Uncharted 3 DLC

Naughty Dog has teased the final downloadable content for Uncharted 3, which is expected to release in April, by releasing a set of screenshots of two multiplayer maps: The Old Quarter and Graveyard.

The Old Quarter hints at a middle-eastern setting with interior and exterior areas set at night. Graveyard is an offshore map full of rusting ships and cargo docks.

A exact date and a pricing scheme have yet to be determined.

Thanks, Gamespot.
