Toughest Optional Boss?

as the title says tell me what you think its the toughest optional boss and i am counting Sephorith but i dont want to see every post saying it >_> for me it would have to be the Phantom from KHI he kicked me around a good 5 times before i final figured out how to beat him ( i had to look at a friken FAQ to figure out how to make people stop dying from Death)
 
God, the phantom was a pain in the ass, it could even be possibly harder than Sephiroth. I beat the whole entire game when I was 9, secret bosses included. I figured out how to beat the damn thing without the internet (which was a pain in the ass) So I'd have to agree with the phantom as being the hardest secret boss.

I hated that thing. His attacks dealt so much damage, the battle was practically Reaction Commands and hit and run strategy :gonk: But the fight was fun and his inept hatred of Xehanort was kind of cool. The battle was by far the hardest in the series -__-
 
That stupid Ice Titan, I neva lasted more than 20 mins against that thing. i kept trying to get that thing to knock over but he wouldnt
 
since i never finished that game (got fed up of ansem arse raping me) i did however try to take on, kurt zisa, sephiroth and the phantom, struggled on all of them so cant really say, but i'll say the phantom as i could do nothing to hit him. ohh look guess i did find which one was hardest :mokken:
 
I would say the phantom train from FFI: Dawn of Souls. Sure, he only had 9999 hp but he was fast and dealt over 250 to each char with acid rain. And this was back when 999 was the max.

Phantom in Neverland, that thing in Agrabah and of course Sephiroth.
Phantom was annoying! You are out of magic so fast and I just had to keep Donald alive to let him heal me, also you have to pay attention to that stupid clock.
That thing in agrabah was pretty tough, especially at the end when he rolls towards you all the time and you can't use magic, used way too many potions.
And yes Sephiroth, beat him only once. The no HP and no mp thing killed me mostly. >.<
 
Sephiroth is the only and hardest toughest boss in both kingdom hearts 1 and 2, theirs no other boss worth fighting than him xD

I mean, what the fuck? If he hits you with ANYTHING you are dead. I COULD NOT beat him and it's just a frustrating battle overall...

I've heard that Julius is JUST as bad but I have yet to play Dream Drop Distance...
 
Phantom! My god, the whole hitting his orb with specific magic, the timer, it was soooooo horrible. I'm never ever doing that fight again.

I beat him once. After I beat him, I had nightmares that my save file got deleted. It's horrible.

For me I beat Phantom the second try based purely on luck...i started casting all my magic and somehow i targeted the clock and kept attacking it till i hit it with stop...so i guess he would be tough, but for me it took over 20 tries to beat Sephiroth and at first i never thought i did any damage to him :/ getting the ultima keyblade though made it a lot easier.
