To all men: What do you actually think of women?

I use it to girls at work and also to any other girls i likeand they have never had no quarels that it is sexist and i shall continue to use it as long as they never take offense to it and it keeps the world a happy place, this is probably due to me not using it in a sexist manner

1. The girls on these forums aren't the girls at your work.

2. There's a little thing called consideration, it means taking into consideration how others will react.

and they know so in this day and age people can say sexist and racial terms and not be considered racist or sexist...comedians being the obvious example but there is a line and that line can be crossed but as veiws change the line gets moved and hope not to cross it.

Yeah, comedians do it IF they are a minority (black, mexican, jew, etc). It's okay for them to poke fun at it because it could very well apply to themselves, but they're not letting it. It's a way to make the word lose it's strength, or so they say. But the line is crossed if it's someone in the majority using racist terms, or a certain gender using sexist terms for the opposite sex.

I also feel you are beggining to take this to a personal level. lets keep it here please(not a stab at you)

Why would I take it personally? I'm not a woman. What annoys me is your blatant disregard of being courteous to the women here, not being able to back up your argument well, and knowing full well that using "dumb blonde" is being sexist but still doing it.

Let me make this perfectly clear to you: it does not matter if the girls at your work do not take offense to it. Other people do take offense to it, and the way you have been using the term in your last few posts has been nothing but sexist.

The girls that I talk to are NOT offended. If nobody is offended then their is no harm done. I use no discrimitory terms that offend people. Such as the N word...i do not use that whatsoever.
These days you do not have to be a minority to use these terms. There are many out there who do so.
I also do not work on these forums i work at a heliport. yes i get your joke and you said you wouldn't take it to a personal level. Please do not

'Scuse me, but you're either blatantly lying or in denial. Did you not read what I said? I said the girls on these forums are not the girls at your work. Obviously harm has been done and you've offended people because you've pissed off alot of females here.

Guess what? Dumb blonde is discriminatory. Discrimination isn't limited to race. By using the blonde stereotype you are using a discriminatory term.

So then you won't mind if I start insulting you for being Scottish, aye? Want some haggis with your kilt, aye?

Yeah, I'd like to see those people who aren't minorities who use the terms freely.

I didn't make any jokes in my last post. Apparently you seem to think this entire discussion is a joke (which it kind of is, since you don't understand a thing I'm saying). I'm not taking it personally, but your lack of willingness to understand what I'm saying and your denial is frustrating.

race was anothetr example and your the only one who seems offended for some reason since your a guy. not bothered...i have a kilt and 'huggis' is fine :)
I understand what your saying just stubborn.
Your angry and someone else was disagreeing with my point that's been about it. It's like those people who right into the TV folks about somebody saying the N word on TV when they are white, but nobody really minds. Times are changing its becoming more of how we say it not what we say.
And yes I am not taking this to serioussly as It's my friends and people I see in day to day life who matter to me not you. Nothing personal i just have no idea who you are.

Say...what? You're clearly confused, buddy.

Guess what? We don't live in Scotland. We don't get Scottish TV. Things are different here.

If it's your friends that matter then shut up and get out of this thread. It's obvious you could care less if people here think you're sexist or not, you'll continue to use stereotypes. And this thread isn't even about your friends, it's about what you think of women in general. And given what we've seen and the ignorance you've displayed, you have sexist views of women.

Thats how small minded you are. One word does not mean everything...it's the context and the meaning. Stop taking everything at face value. Because it's whats inside that counts (lol i totally set my self up for some ugly jokes lol). Guess what? I don't like in America. I get American TV. Things are differant everywhere.
Now i know that this does not relate directly to sexism but it does relate to relate to discrimination in general.
''it's really the word that's important, it's whats going on inside. Ya know?'' That person is somebody who the N word directly relates to but yet understands thats its context not surface value thats imoprtant.
It's all about context.
I also like the way you say in your profile ''I hate n00bs and emos, go kill yourselves.''. Tell me thats all flowers and sunshine :)

You're way off topic now. Now would you stfu and listen to me for a second?

You are using a stereotypical term. It doesn't matter if your friends don't mind it. Some people still take offense to it, and you've pissed off quite a large number of females on these forums with it. In all your posts you have done NOTHING but prove yourself to be sexist and completely ignorant.

And um...what the hell does what I say about n00bs and emos have to do with this topic? I find it rather pathetic that you were looking at my profile for about 5 minutes trying to find something you could pin on me. Go away.

Ok this is starting to go way off topic and I really don't want to close it because it's actually a really good discussion thread.

So from here on out try to keep it on topic everyone!

STEROTYPES. yes i know which is what i was demonstrating using another stereotpye(race), it is all discrimination.
Who...who are these females who are so offended in all of these forums...you are the first person to respond to me in this way! I have apparently demonstrated it by use of one word, which I am trying to demonstrate is context and not content that is concerned with this particular insident. Where as i have implied that woman are differant and some are good and some are bad. and you cannot group woman as a whole and i said that several times...individualism!!!.
If all you are conserned about is the words and not the meaning. The saying that all emos and noobs should die may offend them...and if you are so concerned about offending people then why post this publicly on your profile???
Sorry to be a drag bei bei , but i'm kind of on a role with this guy

This is honestly the most absurd post I've seen in awhile. And you've contradicted yourself so many times in this thread, you've lost all credibility. You are the one being small-minded by flinging around sexist terms and trying to use your group of friends as an excuse. People speak to their friends differently than they would a complete stranger. The thread, from what I could tell, was about how you feel about women in general, not how you speak to your friends on a regular basis.

Yes, words have different meanings. However, the 'context' you were using the word 'blond' is sexist, plain and simple. And the fact that you claim that you don't know any males you would consider 'blond' only seals the fact that it was sexist. The dictionary definition of blond has nothing to do with being stupid or driving while applying make-up. Using the term in the text you've been using it in is derogatory; how your friends feel about it is irrelevant.

I'm not even sure what you meant by that but I'd like to see you go up to a stranger, call them the 'N' word and then try to explain that you didn't mean it in that context. :monster:

And using VR's profile is just childish and immature and it's also way off-topic. Who's the small-minded one again?

Hey... You're still off-topic Dazz... Get back with the program... I'm not meaning to pseudo-mod, but you read Bei Bei's post and still stayed mostly off-topic. The topic is how you feel about women and supporting it, not bashing someone else's ideals... And besides, I don't really see you being 'on a roll'...

Anywho... I feel that all women are to be respected as any other person. The 'dumb blonde' cracks are unfounded, as I know a number of intelligent girls with blonde hair, so that has nothing to do with anything... Nor do I think hair color would make them a bad driver (unless the hair is too reflective. xD)

Ok, any post that has nothing to do with what you think about women, or what you think others think about women I'm deleting, plain and simple. If you have some other problem then take it in PM

Still... Typically, 'blonde' is used in a sexist sense. As you so plainly said to Vengeful, you knew it was sexist, but still used it. If you didn't want to offend women, you should have clarified what you really meant within that same post, to avoid being called 'sexist' if you're so afraid of being called thus.

Today we see no real respect of men towards women and vice versa.
And even that exists is very rare.
Most guys don't dare expressing their opinion to a girl, about what they think of her because they're afraid of being dump.
I hate that they're such sexists(there are always exceptions) and treat them like shit. But women are masochists as well since they choose to stay with them when they already know what's gonna happen to them and they also give them the right to think of that.
It's boths fault in my opinion.

As someone said that girls dump good guys and go with bad, that's because their bored.
Same happens with guys and good girls. They prefer feeling that they're cool
going out with a bad guy/girl who smokes or does drugs and ruin their lives.
But when they grow up(meaning their way of thinking not physically) they finally realise what they've done and regret and who they rejected.
