This Forum needs more smileys

The Rules said:
Spamming smileys to the point that it may lag a user's computer and crash their connection if the load is that severe is prohibited in any forum, spam section or not. right, but is using 2-3 smileys per post really going to crash something? I mean some peoples sigs here take up more data than a few smileys.

The man has a point. The size of all smilies on this forum combined total to 1.17 mb. This isn't the stone age. Even dial-up wouldn't have a problem with a couple of small images loading. Someone's signature gallery can be from 4 mb up to 10 mb depending on the images.
 
If someone is going to have trouble loading smilies, they probably wouldn't be able to load the forum itself with all the images on each post, signatures, avatars, etc :hmmm: A few small images (or more than a few) isn't going to make much of a difference compared to the bigger things. :grin:

Seriously though, if you want to add a smilie, earn the VB points and buy it like (most) everybody else.

That happened to me yesterday. Went all mod-mode and deleted spam posts, then looked up and realized it was the spam section.
