Anime Things you hate in Anime

I generally hate when animes get too preachy, and philosophical, because too often it seems contrived or forced. I also hate it when their are clear distinctions between good and evil, as I like a bit of ambiguity in my characters, good or bad.

On a side note, I also hate epic battles that last multiple, multiple episodes, because most of the time theyare are either overdone or played out, because by the fourth episode of the battle, whatever the writers were attempting to get across gets lost in the ridculous length of the battle.
 
The way to SUPERNATURAL Animes are ridiculous! When people jump 30 feet back and forth, or jump 90 feet up in the sky. Come on, get real. That is beyond silly. Some Animes are even suitable only for people aged 15+. And by that time, we should comprehend that things like that are not natural at all. Which are one of the main reasons I quit watching Anime.
 
I hate how small kids (like detective conan) is like epic.
They are the "keys" and always find a way to beat the bad guys.

Take Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as an example, althought he grows up.
Anyways, he discovers <spam>Fusion and everything never heard of before</spam>.

Also irritating, but not that often (as the one above) is that bad endings is the worst ever.
Like D.Gray Man, huuuge letdown.
Hoping there will be a season 2 at least.
And Inuyasha is probably the worst one out there.
 
How anime screws the manga over. There are quite a lot of things I hate about anime, and I can't really be bothered to list them right now.
 
I hate it when an anime based on a manga ends too early or has a filler ending. Why can't they wait until the manga is finished or at least wait until it gets far enough so they don't end it mid way.
imo I think after every story arc, they should take a break with it and get back to it once they have more to work with so the viewers won't be pissed with mind numbing fillers. (I've been traumatized ever since the Naruto incident.....)
 
lol I hate the voice actors. I've never heard such squeaky women in all my life. And if it's dubbed then it's absolutely horrendous. Ex. Bible Black
 
I hate it when a character dramatically says, "This is...!!" They never finish up what they say, and sometimes it doesn't even make sense! I also hate all english dub except Pokemon... But now they replaced the dubs so it sounds ugly, too
 
Right now, I currently hate the fact that....

For the case of Shoujo, the guys are forever perfect, (I understand that Shoujo itself often depicts a rather fake type of romance in it's stories.. But..) and EXTREMELY intelligent, is the most handsome, most in everything positive, and nothing negative. Way too extraordinary for my liking, though I still watch it... Ironically.

For the case of Shonen, I've not much comments on it. Maybe the gravity defying acts? But hey, it's a fact Shonen particularly loves depicting Supernatural cases, like ghosts busting (Bleach, literally,
Hollows=Ugly=Ghost, an absolutely random crap generated in 0.01 seconds
)... Ninja world (Naruto).. But it's amusing to know that it seems to be forever the case of the main character being the most powerful there is, or will be.. So much so it becomes rather obvious who'll win in battles.. (Though there are some twists from time to time, but still)

I won't say much about Seinen and Jousei. Personally, I think they do a much better job, being more mature in terms of storyline, and sometimes, character personality. Then again, I don't really watch much of these two genre too. (The only Seinen I've watched so far is Monster, as seen from my username... )
 
Speaking of shonen and mahou shoujo, recently I don't why but I have a problem with the main character always having the answer to every problem the antagonists have and they beat the crap of them because they are always "right" about everything. Also, what it is that so called hot blooded protagonists stuff? They always seem to be more annoying in real life, it is irritating!
 
I'm sick and tired of the cliche high school plot where the girl falls in love with "THE MOST POPULAR BOY IN THE SCHOOL, ZOMG!!!". I don't mind high school plots if they're different in some way such as Ouran High School or Hana Kimi. But take a look at a lot of the shoujo mangas, and you'll see a string of repetitive plots. Makes me want to vomit. I also hate the whole big boobs and panty shots.. and little googly-eyed elementary girls falling in love with their 50 year old male teachers(there was an anime like that.. I forget what it was called, but I saw it on google.. it exists!).

Lol, that no matter what anime it is, there is always at least one gay guy in it (i mean no offense), but in an anime like bleach it really doesn't tend to work out to well.
 
Also, I hate messiah characters who can do no wrong and have all the answers to life.
 
Those big breasted female characters that are there for only fanservice... Sure, they could have a role in the actual story line at first, but eventually their role turns into a fanservice machine for multiple panty shots.

I think I remember someone showing me this anime where the girls' breasts were bigger than half of their body.... o_____o Seriously. I mean, I know it's for fanservice and all, but Z cups?
 
Lmao, you somewhat have a point. But another thing, when they put out completely pointless episodes that have absolutely nothing to do with what is currently going on in the storyline
 
The gigantic boobs are annoying most of the anime girls would have broken spines form the size of there "G" brazer. Maybe its just a gay thing but i don't like the boobs.

Another thing i find annoying is the constant changing of theme songs... Ex. Death Note and Bleach. I think the death note themes sucked personally.

Last rant is about the number of episodes a series has. Ex Naruto has way way way too many filler episodes i may acctualy like the series if it kept my attention.
 
Couple things.... I hate bad character designs, for example, in satan 666 one of the main characters is a girl named ruby cresent i think and theres absolutly nothing unquie about the way she looks. All she wears is a tank top and really short blue jeans. Another... Bad voice acting in english dubs, for example, in Code geass natally or how ever u spell it sounds like a wimpy little mouse, it was terrible the first few eps but i got use to it later, thankfully she doesnt have many lines in the first season, not as much as the others do anyways. ( if theres an eng dub ill watch that over the japanese version cause reading the sub titles is a pain in the ass when ur trying to focus on the characters and action scenes.
 
ok all i have to say on this matter is i hate english dubs in anime, i would personally rather watch them in the original language, be it japanese, chinese w.e.
 
The clear distictions between "good" and "evil." Life just isn't like that, there is no "good side" and "bad side;" good and evil are subjective.

The girl characters who don't do anything beside stand around and act like a help meet to the main guy character.

When characters are too perfect/good at everything imaginable XD

The hero archetype who is teh ch0s3n 0n3!1!

Shoujo. Everything about it. XD
 
A serious moment ruined by the Author trying to be funny. For instance, I was watching Fushigi Yugi and it was a totally serious moment that had me so into what I was watching, and all of a sudden the characters start joking around about the situation. That ruined the whole thing! :(

Also, I hate it when a guy walks on a girl either just plain naked/getting dressed, or showering. Which of course, causes the girl to get pissed, chase after him, blah blah blah. I don't find that funny at all, in fact, I find it to be rather lame and annoying.

I can't stand Mary-Sues of course.

And, I'm sure there's more, but these are the ones that stand out for me for now.
