The Tale of the Forgotten

OK people this is what I didn't want it to come to, but if Arth can't start to improve the quality of his post I might have to ask him to leave.

I'd say it would be a shame, but I actually think that he's getting close to being a lost cause. If we can, let's try to shape him, but if he doesn't improve, I agree, kick him.

Moving onto a different subject:

How strong of an antagonist would you rather me be? I have my own opinion on the matter, but I'd just like to know what you guys would rather see out of my character. Calm and collective sadist, or brazen, manipulative and purely cruel?

I'd like to think I was diverse enough to embrace either, but I think I'm taking minor elements from both sides - which imo doesn't make a great antagonist.

I would go with the second one, would make it more intresting I would say. Also it gives more reason for Vex to want to fight you.

I dunno LJ, the first one seems really good. Sadism would reall make this RP, you know?

Well my can change from a peace loving warrior to an arrogant, strict, cruel and self centered soldier, always following orders and placing the honor of dying in battle above all else.

Hey Saix, leave some fun for me, let's make them hate us :devil2:

PS: For some reason you remind me more of Kain, LOK when after the battle with the Elder God in which Raziel sacrificed his soul for the sake of the world, thus entering the Soul Reaver. Your character should have the Soul Reaver :monster:

o_O The Soul Reaver would never bow down to him! Raziel will only ever serve Kain!

...Though, it should have been the other way around. Raziel should have been the master, argh!

I know!

Bue who knows, they might make him like some kind of switchable character with Kain, i.e. one of their souls goes into the Reaver while the other becomes the body, and then they can switch back and forth like that.

That's the most ridiculous thing ever. :wacky:

I know!

The instant I played that game, all illogical explanations for God and Magic became logical!

It's pretty clear why Raziel wouldn't appear as a playable character in future games though - should they even be conceptualised let alone released.

I sure found amusing how Kain kept mocking Mobius and the Elder God. I can hardly wait for the next LOK game, if made, though I think they should first look for a replacement for the Elder God's voice actor, I heard he died.

Actually, I think he did. I was surprised when I heard cuz I was like, "Dude, he played that big Tree with the wierd eyes in Soul Reaver!" (Back then, I didn't know he was the Elder God xD)

Either way, if they do make one, they had better give Raziel a serious comeback. Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2 blew Blood Omen and Blood Omen 2 out of the water. With ease. Raziel is a great character, and he needs another role in any upcoming games!

DEFIANCE FTW!

It'd completely defy the point of Raziel's sacrifice if he came back. It's like you're not a fan of the story at all.

You blasphemous swine.

But, they could make it into a little twist!

Instead, Kain becomes the Soul Reaver and Raziel is the body. Period. Raziel was the best character there was, especially when you compare him to Kain.

I DO love the story, I'm just pointing out that there is still stuff to be written that we can influence.

Influence with retardation, perhaps.

Moving onto the RP - I hate my characters being alone.
