Happened in last RPG too the flans and mushrooms were immune to melee. I personally hate it. They should have around 200 def but shouldn't be invincible.

well, all you people have lots more training time. I get like...no time at all...
I haven't had much time to train as i'm also playing PSO: BB on a private server for quite some time now, but, I'm going to work out the most of what I can during the times i'm not playing that game.
Yay! I just beat the Hall of Mages boss all by myself! Too bad my Arcane wasn't high enough to get the mage enchantment... > . <
Meh...I gave up for the night...I can't get anywhere without dying...
don't worry about it zeria just level up one more time at the island then move to the forest and every 2 levels go to the next area.
and i guess most people are getting help from people right now.
Whats up guys ^^ I think im going to train tonight at the hall of warriors by myself, too see how far i can get. Im turning into the battle mage now so i gotta get my magic skills to lvl! Any tips?
For quick levelling of your magic I reccomend going to black pearl 3, easy monsters for easy levelling up. I always train there for my magic, I got my fira from 2 to 5 in just 7 minutes.

Train on monsters that you know you can beat without dying but this time train on them with magic and when you have no more magic then just beat the monster up and go get some hi ethers, restore your magic, and do the same thing again. It worked for me really, now look I have beaten the game as far as it will go for now.
Why hi-ethers? Save money and keep returning to black pearl 1 for healing.
@Zeria, I have finally beaten Roach on hell mode on heavenly sword Once I get a camcorder i will post the video up of me pwning him, you will be guarranteed to laugh on his final life bar, I pwned him with his own weapon.
Roach has the back shield ripped off continuously so i can use the scales he drops as ranged weapons, which kills him quickly XD
For anyone who knows, is it possible to post up videos on the forum without using youtube or a similar video website? Like from a file?
